Remarks

There was no scholarship or loan facility offered by the college. I have not availed any such facility.

Entrance Preview

I had scored a respectable 89 % in my 12th Standard Science Stream board exams. This college offered the engineering course that I wanted to pursue compared to other state university options

Course Curriculum Overview

4

very good curriculum. The focus was on practical education and the theory aspect was in line with industry guidelines and requirements. The faculty of the college was bad and it was all based on reservation criteria. Being a government college more than 80 % of the staff was from reservation background which caused the level of teaching to drop. There was lack of english language literacy.

Internships Opportunities

There were internship opportunities organized by the college but all of them were unpaid. The internship process for engineers is normally unpaid

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are good as there were two or three large local companies wherein the engineering graduates were able to get a job straight after completing their degree.

College Events

4.5

Youth Festivals, sports festivals and annual debate and other festivals were regularly celebrated. Quiz competitions were held and inter-college competitions were also held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure was very cheap as it was a government college. The fees were only INR 500 for a semester. There were additional costs associated with the books and other engineering supplies.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was no scholarship or loan facility offered by the college. I have not availed any such facility. The faculty of the college was bad and it was all based on reservation criteria.

Campus Life

4

There was no scholarship or loan facility offered by the college. I have not availed any such facility. The faculty of the college was bad and it was all based on reservation criteria.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

There was no hostel that was in live able position on campus. The hostel was very dirty and was a hotbed of alcohol and smoking and illicit activities by the college staff.

Alumni/Alumna

There was no scholarship or loan facility offered by the college. I have not availed any such facility. The faculty of the college was bad and it was all based on reservation criteria.

Exam Structure

The exam structure was quite chilled out with regular spaced out exams. There were written and oral viva type exams. The exams focussed on theory while the viva type exams were based on practical knowledge.

Admission

I was part of the Centralized Admission based on General Section admission criteria. Due to reservation politics I could only get into Civil or Textile engineering in my home city and this is why I had to go out of my home to this university to get the degree and course that I wanted to do.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know , college learning is not only about textbooks, and real world knowledge is equally important. in this area, the college supports student well by giving exposure to practical learning . the course includes industry related topics, and teachers also try to explain how concepts are used in real life. the curriculum is helpful, but adding more modern tools, software and hands on projects would make it even better. Overall, the syllabus prepares student for future jobs and higher studies, while still leaving some room for improvement.

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree, wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also, beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects, they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.
