Remarks

My college has an A grade from the NAAC, is ranked 54 in the Times of India's MBA ranking, 102 in India Today's ranking for 2019, and is approved by the UGC and COA. There are also a lot of recruiters who come to campus to offer jobs. Furthermore, the program fee of 5 lakhs for two years is excessively low when compared to other colleges in the city that charge much higher fees for comparable programs. So these were the primary reasons I chose to enroll in my university's MBA program. The first step in getting into this college was to register. Then I used my login credentials to fill out the application form, and finally, I paid the Rs. 1000/- application fee via the internet.

Course Curriculum Overview

The two-year program is divided into four semesters. The CGPA is a grading system used at the University. Technical conferences, seminars, and competitions; professional societies; industrial training; and artistic or cultural pursuits are among our non-CGPA courses. A digital library and Wi-Fi connection are available on campus. We have an Entrepreneurship and Innovation Cell at our college that encourages students to come up with new ideas and create a Business Plan for them. The course content greatly improved my understanding of global and Indian retailing. On-campus, there is a lot of support from the professors. We have guest speakers, webinars, and an online class.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are available at both the DRDO and the ISRO. Students are evaluated and compensated based on tasks such as design, manufacturing, and a variety of others. Furthermore, by enhancing the student's resume, these internships and projects aid in securing the highest-paying college positions.

Placement Experience

After two years, or the fourth semester of college, students are eligible for campus placements. HAL, the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), the National Aerospace Laboratory (NAL), Accenture, Wipro, HCL, IBM, TCS, Oracle, Google, and others visit our campus. The highest package on our campus was 3.5 crores per year, and the average package was around 9 lac per year. It is estimated that 90% of students will be placed in college. Personally, I want to study abroad.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The first year's fees are Rs.2,53,000 in total. For the second year, the total fee is 2,05,500 ruppes. Deserving students can apply for merit, financial need, or athletic scholarships from the institute. Student internships allow us to earn money while learning, gaining experience and confidence, and preparing for future employment. The institute allows us to participate in internships of our choosing.

Campus Life

Seminars, Conferences, Workshops, and Symposia are frequently held on campus. We can join the NCC, NSS, and YRC. Sporting events are well-known for their significance. We can participate in a variety of sports, including horseback riding, football, basketball, cricket, and volleyball. Domestic and international students attend classes on our campus. As a result, we were able to share our knowledge and learn about their respective states' and countries' work cultures.

Hostel Facilities

There are equal numbers of hostels for both girls and boys. The room's amenities include 24 hour access to water, electricity, and WIFI, as well as study tables. The hostel's student association decides on the canteen menu, which changes every three months. The quantity and quality are both excellent. The registration process for hostel assignments is extremely simple. It's a bit pricey, but we managed to make it work.

Admission

No, my admission was based on my entrance exam scores, and they also asked if I had any previous work experience. The entrance exam was difficult to pass; I passed on my second attempt after studying online.

Remarks:

To get admission in the MBA course, I was required to fill the online application form available on the official college website and pay Rs.500 along with it. After the submission of the filled-in application to the admission officer, a written aptitude test was conducted followed by an interview session. My KMAT scores were also considered during admission. I wanted to take admission here because my sister also graduated from here. Also, it ranked 36 among the best B-Schools across India by Business Today and ranked 1st overall at the State Level and 19th at All India Level by Education World.

Time management is one real asset that I developed in these three months. Joining BIM has given me with an opportunity to meet people with varied backgrounds, get a good network of intellectual people and give a chance to learn Tamil. Much software that I learnt for problem solving has given me an edge over any other MBA graduate of first year in the country.
