HITS Chennai is a foundation for Aerospace engineering and is ranked under the top 10 Pvt. Institutions for Aerospace engineering. There are many plus points as well as minus points also. Plus points are that the Institution is having each and every facility be it lab, infrastructure or any other practical instruments, etc. Getting into this college was a proud moment for me. There are minus points like they provide less foreign trips for great exposure and experience and many other minus points like cultural events. The admission process is very simple for this college. After taking the HITSEE exam they'll check your qualifications and see whether you are eligible for entry. After that, they'll contact you and ask you to complete certain formalities. After that, they'll call for orientation in which they'll give you id cards hostel room, and other things too and that's it you have successfully entered HITS. I choose this course because I had an interest in aviation and every single detail about aviation. The ratio of faculty is equal to the number of students. Almost all the faculties are graduated from IIT's or abroad universities. Almost all faculties have doctorate degrees and have worked with companies like HAL, DRDO, ISRO, etc. So one need not worry about the teaching methodology or one won't face any issues in studying because everyone got their good style of teaching with a great experience. Coming onto term exams this college has Odd Semester System (1,3,5,7)and Even Semester System(2,4,6,8). In the odd Semester system you have 3 internal exams and then the Semester exam and in the even semester system you have 2 internal exams and then the Semester exam. The question paper is set according to yo what has been taught in class nothing else comes from outside. And talking about difficulty level the question paper comes very easy.

There are several internships given by DRDO and ISRO. There is a task like designing manufacturing and many others on which students are assessed and paid accordingly. These internships and projects help students for getting college placements with the highest package as it boosts their resume.

From 3 years which is from 5th-semester students are eligible for campus placements. There are several companies that visit our campus like HAL, DRDO, ISRO, NAL, Accenture, Wipro, HCL, IBM, TCS, Oracle, Google, etc. The highest package on our campus went up to 3.5 crores per anum and the avg package is about 9 Lac per anum. Almost 90% of students get college placements. My own plan is to go for higher studies abroad.

In my time there was a fee hike of about 1 Lac. The tuition fee of B.tech Aerospace is 3,51,500 /-. The fee including the hostel is different. The above costs also include all the books and all materials required in that particular year in the course. There are various scholarships mainly for girls through which they can be benefitted. The scholarships depend upon rank in HITSEE, CBSE percentage, and later on, on Semester Exam CGPA.

There is a total of 2 cultural fests in the year which very epic. Everyone can participate in that event. The names of that event are YARON and YT SUMMIT. All the events arranged in college are very interesting and affordable. There is a 5-floor library on the campus in which all the books are available which is required for the courses. There are sports like swimming, horse riding, shooting, boxing, football, cricket, basketball, badminton, lawn tennis, etc. On our campus. There are many clubs like music club, dance club, debate club, aero club, IT club, etc on campus. There is a page on Instagram which is run by students of that college " confession. Hindustan ".

There are 3 hostels for girls and 3 hostels for boys. The facilities that are provided in the room are 24*7 water, electricity, WIFI, study tables, etc. The canteen menu gets changed every 3 months and is decided by the students association in the hostel. The quality and the quantity both are good. The registration process is very easy for hostel allotment. Talking about affordability the fee is a bit high but we have to manage.

The topics of GD were simple and general knowledge-based. We were divided into 10 and given a certain topic on which we had to represent our views orally. To be honest there were no such preparations I did for this round. During the admission process, we have to submit our 10th, 12th, and transfer certificates permanently for 4 years for official purposes.
