I took JEE , TS EAMCET and in the 3rd Counselling i got the seat in Vasavi Engineering College in B.Tech IT through TS EAMCET rank. Through Jee Mains score i just missed by 2 candidate this same seat. Any how I got it through TS EAMCET.
Course Curriculum Overview
Very good, as Vasavi is affiliated to Osmania university and it is also Autonomous. So the college is having the liberty to later some of the course to provide the latest subjects in the curriculum and frame its own course curriculum to suite the changing trends in the market.
Internships Opportunities
Since I am in the 1st Year not aware of the internship details provided by my college. Since the college is once of the best in Hyderabad, it is not difficult to get a good internship.
Placement Experience
The Job and placement opportunities are very good in Vasavi Engineering College, each candidates will get at least two offers. As the college is very strict in academics so almost most of the candidates get placed in good Companies. Vasavi is considered the best for placements and job opportunities in Hyderabad.
College Events
Since in 1st year, do not know. But i was told that the cultural and festival events that the college conduits are very famous and well organised. This is the time for the students to explore & exhibit their talents in the areas related to academic routine. The events conducted during this festival are Technical Grand Prix, Poster Presentation, Rocketry, LAN Party, Constructors Championship, Technocraftz and spot events like Techno Witz, MineSweeper.
Fees and Financial Aid
In vasavi they will provide scholarship and as well as loan facility for students can take their three years of loan and after completion of their course and if they selected in campus interviews they can clear their loans very easily.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni network for Vasavi Engineering college is very good and many of its students are placed in good positions in the Industry.
Exam Structure
The Exams and Labs are very frequent and it leaves us with hectic days, so time to play. And holidays are few and it is a 6 day week. There are frequent Exams and in the 1st semester most of the labs are done with in the 1st year. In the rest of the yeas are I am not aware now.
Faculty
Vasavi is having the best faculty, most of them are having years of experience. And very high Standards are set by the faculty and they are very helpful to students. They see that all the students understand the subject and explain from basics. This is very helpful to the students and in turn the college get a good name.
