Remarks

The admission process is very smooth and easily you can get admission to this college. I have not availed any quota in the admission. There are 3 ways from which you could get admission to this college: 1. BY COMEDK 2. BY KCET(FOR KARNATKA'S ONLY) 3. BY MANAGEMENT QUOTA You have to pass your PU with min 50% mark and then you can go through either the entrance test or by management quota. After passing the entrance test there is a counseling process which is conducted in 3-4 rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have chosen this course because I am interested in the IT field. In our college in every branch the faculty: student ratio is 1:50-55 respectively In my college, All faculty are highly qualified and the most important thing is all are very helpful, they always ready to help students even at night if you asked a doubt they will be ready to help. Some of our faculty have Ph.D. degrees also and some are pursuing Ph.D. The teaching method of all the teachers is very good. Term exams are always take time and quite difficult to pass so those who study well will definitely pass the exam easily.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

In my college, the internship program starts with the 6th sem itself. Various good companies offer internship in my college like WIPRO, INFOSYS, TCS, AMAZON, etc and they offers a good range of internship package also. Students of my branch got an internship of 10 lakhs which is a very good amount for an internship.

Placement Experience

4

Placements statistics of my college is very good as students from 7th sem are eligible for placements and especially in my branch (ISE), there is a lot of faculty who helps in placements as a result students got placed easily and in good companies. The company visited in my college is AMAZON, WIPRO, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT, TCS, etc. 90-95% of ISE, almost 95% of CSE,80-85% of ECE students are placed and the placements of other branches like EEE, MECHANICAL, CIVIl are not good I can say. The average placements of ISE are 6 LPA, CSE is 6.5 LPA, ECE is 5 LPA and the highest package of ISE is 15 LPA, ECE Is 26LPA, CSE is 19LPA. I have not decided yet regarding higher education or placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of our college is 231960 for comedk and 100000 something for KCET students. And this year there is a hike in fees of our college having incremented by 6000 something I don't know the reason but I got shocked because everywhere there is a decrement to see in college fees. Till now there is nothing to see and hear like any scholarship program in my college.

Campus Life

4

Till now there was no annual fest and tech fest conducted in my college but this year there is a Kannada rajyotsava that is going to conduct in the, college in which various types of events are conducted. In library, you can get whatever books you want to study means a lot of books are present in the library and many journals and magazines also which is enough for students. There is many sports club in our colleges such as the RNSIT cricket club, chess club, etc, and many extracurricular activities are conducted frequently.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel facilities are not up to the mark as there is a big room it is okay but in a single room four-person have been accommodated this is not good for me, and the food provided by the hostel management is also not up to the mark especially north students have found many problems regarding food because they want north food and hostel management provides mostly south dishes. Yes, I have rented for a pg in the 2nd year, which is located just beside college in channasandara, there are many colleges beside my college.

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. Off-Campus Drives & Internships: Students are encouraged to undertake industry internships and live projects to build their portfolios, making it easier to land off-campus roles at top tech companies.
