Remarks

I got admission to the college through the EAMCET entrance exam. I applied to many colleges at the time of web options. And for my rank in the EAMCET exam, I was allowed in METHODIST COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY. Three phases will be available and we can apply for we option up to the last phase( if any special phase is announced). There is a management quota also available for those who do not get any colleges through the EAMCET web options. After getting to the college have to do self reporting and after that, we can join the college by submitting the documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum and faculty are good. At the time of applying for our options, I thought a lot and finally, I choose civil engineering. About faculty in our college are very hard workers and they trying to clarify our doubts. They always interact with us and what they know definitely shares about out of syllabus also. Coming to qualifications of faculty are very good and PhD professors also there in our college. Their teaching method is also good. Yearly two times have to write semester exams and if we study well can pass easily.

Placement Experience

3.5

From the last year of first students can be eligible for placements. Name of companies that visited our college is Capgemini, HCL, TCS, Amazon, Wipro, Suriefy, Jio, Planetspark, Accenture, Infogain, Hyundai and etc. The highest package as per companies are Suriefy with 9.6 LPA, Planetspark with 7 LPA, Hitachi consulting with 6.5 LPA, UHG optum with 5 LPA and etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee for our batch 2017-2021 was 60,000 and for the general quota government paid 35,000 through scholarship and the remaining fee was paid by students only. And for ST, SC people government paid total fee. But the semester fee totally student have to pay and it will be around 2000 per semester only. Campus jobs can get but not big companies hire for jobs.

Campus Life

4

Campus Life was good but 2 years of our college life were missed due to lockdown in Telangana. And we celebrate only one annual fest in the second year that was so good. and library facilities are good. All the required course material is available in the library. And the classrooms are good. Coming to sports who are interested can play after college class hours. We can participate in extracurricular activities conducted by the college. I think there is an Instagram account handled by a student and a website also available in Google.

Placement Experience:

SVIT provides good placement opportunities for general IT roles, but students aiming for niche fields like Cyber Security need to take initiative, upskill themselves, and explore off-campus options. The college is improving slowly, and I believe future batches will benefit more if industry tie-ups are strengthened.

Placement Experience:

Around 40% to 50% of students get placed in entire college. It is totally based on the skill of the student if students has very good skill training and placement officer also offers to apply for companies which only takes skilled students the college is totally computer science and only one section has ECE which is comparatively has less placements compared to other deparments since there is no computer science background this is the drawback for taking Electronics and Communication but if students are skilled in the Electronics backgroung Veda IIT which provides internship and job oppurtunities in VLSI and Embedded Systems but the student has to be a skilled person in the electronics subjects.
