Remarks
I applied for B.tech courses in three universities - AKTU, GALGOTIAS, and GLA UNIVERSITY. I opt for GLA UNIVERSITY because there is a good culture, the best academic environment, and lot of placement opportunities.I didn't avail any quota.First of all one has to register on the website of the university and then you have to take the entrance exam which is mandatory to get enrolled here.The criteria for admission is 12th passed and no age boundation. All the admission processes are quite smooth. But before getting admitted anywhere,i suggest you to PLEASE FOLLOW YOUR PASSION.Don't take admission blindly.It's your life your career.
Course Curriculum Overview
As i was a science student and didn't get a good score inJEE so I am here in GLAU. The faculty and other staff is very supportive and there are more than 100 professors in CS department. All the teachers are well qualified and learned.No no need to worry about academics in GLAU.
Internships Opportunities
Several companies visit campus to hire interns and setudents get selected on their performance.Mostly company offers the post of trainee software engineer or analyst and the stipend varies from 10000-25000 per month.
Placement Experience
From 6th sem,students become eligible for placements.This year Wipro selected 250, Accenture took 150 and Capgemini selected 150 students.And other companies are visiting campus till now.Hisghest package of this year is 10lacs per annum by Morr consulting.Average package is 4 lacs.
Fees and Financial Aid
Every year fees will increase and its varies every year. my fees is 165000 per year. The scholarship will be given as per the norms.I was also given a 25000 scholarship in the first year. There are lot of job opportunities.
Campus Life
there are a lot of clubs like sport, cultural, tech and management in which a lot of activities happen time to time. central library is the biggest source of knowledge in college and apart from this every dept has its own library. Udaan club is the social cause club in GLAU.
Hostel Facilities
I live in hostel since first year.Hostels are well managed and hygenic.In the room,table chair,led bulb and bed is provided. Mess runs on no profit no loss.Mess menu is decided by hostellers.Registration process can be done through gla portal.
