Remarks

I didn't score good in JEE so i didn't get opportunity there Other exams i gave were, UPTU, MHTCET and BVUCET Among the options I had I found BV(DU)(CoE), Pune the best option for me since if you're not in the IIT's and NIT's it doesn't really matters, after that's it's your hard work which will take you places. I chose BV(DU)(CoE), Pune because the ranking was fair at that time (66th) and it was a renowned college with great campus and opportunities, also the city Pune is amazing and the weather is heavenly. I didn't applied for any quota Or anything, straight admission on merit base. To enter the college(it's not hard) you just have to appear for the exam, clear the cut off which varies with every exam but since the college takes admission through Management quota even if you didn't make it, you can manage to get admission. Councelling was based on ranks and 500 students per day were handeled and streams were provided on the basis of ranks from Comp. Science to Prod. Engg

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose Civil Engg. because I didn't like the 9-5 on-screen jobs, I wanted fieldwork and my stream provides me that but with this, serious responsibilities also come with the job which is to be handled. There are an ample amount of professors in the Institute and the student-faculty ratio is fairly good, one will get all the needful if he/she really wants to learn. Most of the faculty members are holding a Ph.D. or masters in their respective streams and all of them are having a fairly good amount of knowledge of the subject they teach. Two semesters were there annually which includes two Final Sem Examinations and two Unit tests in each semester(4 UT annually) with the projects, practical tests, assignments, oral examinations, and last but not the least attendance. The college-level of examinations aren't that hard one can score well with very little time invested so that one can also invest the time in other fields and hobbies if one wants to.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Majorly the students have to figure out their internship programa and college also helps them with that but students are not allowed to take a stipend for the internship as per the college norms. The final year project is a major task for every student but one gets to learn a lot from it and it's also necessary for academics.

Placement Experience

3

From the beginning of 4th year, (7th Sem) students start to appear for campus placements. Major companies like Amazon, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, LnT, Cognizant and many other companies come for recruiting students from campus placements. •Highest package is usually given to the IT and EnTC department by companies like Amazon and TCS with an average package of (8-12 Lpa), The percentage of students getting placed majorly depends on the department, in some departments like CS, IT, EnTC almost 80% of the students get placed and streams like Chemical Engg., Production Engg. a handful of students are getting placed. After getting the degree (as being a Civil Engg. student) I'll go after the govt. examinations and will become a govt civil engineer.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee is 1,20,000 (1 Lakh 20 Thousand), Semester fee is 3440/- per semester (at my time, might have increased). They also provide a Network Security Diploma course(which they've made mandatory) costs 1340/- for the first module and overall 3 modules are there and the cost increases exponentially. Hidden charges are also there,

Campus Life

4.5

Bharatiyam is the annual fest of the college which is for three days in a row and it's a massive and grand fest. It's conducted in the month of March, apart from this there are plenty of Tech fests and other events which will be hard for me to name as there are so many. Classroom quality is good with nice seating arrangements, ventilation, and lighting, also projectors in every classroom. Sports play a major role in the college and many events are taking place throughout the year and almost all the sports are available to participate. There are two major clubs in the college namely -Leo Club and -Rotract Club. Both of them have a positive rivalry between them and they come up with new events and functions every now and then to outrun their opponents.

Placement Experience:

The placement situation at my college is really good. It is getting better all the time. At my college students can start getting ready for internships and placement training from the semester. Then most of the full-time job opportunities start coming up in the semester. A lot of students at my college get something called Pre-Placement Offers or PPOs for short through internships before the actual placement season starts at my college. My college students get these PPOs. It is a big help to them. Placement, at my college is a deal and my college students take it very seriously. A lot of known companies come to the campus every year. The main companies that hire people from the campus are NVIDIA, JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, PhonePe, Microsoft, BMC Software and Citi Bank. Some companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini hire a lot of people from the campus. These companies, NVIDIA, JPMorgan Chase, Barclays, PhonePe, Microsoft, BMC Software and Citi Bank are really good at finding the people for the job. Companies, like TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Capgemini also give jobs to students. The Placement Highlights for the year 2024 to 2025 are looking good far. We have had some results. The highest package offered to a student is 45 LPA. The median salary is 9.5 LPA. This is a sign because it means that most students are getting a decent salary. 86.3 Percent of students have been placed so far. The average package is different for each company and role. For example a software developer will get a package than an analyst or a data engineer. Students who get the paying roles usually have strong coding skills. They also have projects to show and they do well in their technical interviews and in Data Structure and Algorithms which we call DSA for short. Placement Highlights for the year 2024 to 2025 show that these skills are very important, for students. The college does not promise that every student will get a placement. It really depends on the student. Students who ta

After 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements depending upon their capabilities, staff recomendation, CGPA, and various other factors. Not everyone is provided with placements because 80% of the students prefer studying for masters. Companies like TCS, cipla, abott, and many more pharma companies visit here with average package of 4 lakh per annnum.
