Remarks :

1. I applied from Rua college. 2. Minimum marks needed are 49%. 3. Admission process was really smooth. Got a lot of help from staff. WWere friendly, the fees were around 35000 rupees per year. Good campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

1. Our head of department had a PHD in Computer science. Several teachers have either done a Ph.D. or are pursuing it. 2. Teachers were friendly. Took their time with students and solved each and every doubt. 3. Every 6 months exams were conducted. On a scale from 1 to 10, the hardship was 6.5.

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience :

1. From the 5th semester, students become eligible for placements. 2. Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Red Hat, a lot of other companies too come to college annually. 3. Around 90% of students get placements. 4. I plan to pursue masters.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

1. Fees stayed the same throughout the years. The usual cost to study including uniform fees, books make the total of 40000 per year. 2. If you're financially not competent to pay the full fees. The colleges give relief on fees. 3. Service-based companies come in college. The placement rate is decent.

Campus Life :

1. There were several activities conducted in college. From its own Techfest to communication skills workshop to annual college function. It was a fun environment. We even got to decorate college on the festive occasion.

The placement record is above average, however, the DG shipping of india strictly allows those cadets who do not have any backlogs in their previous semester examination to appear for placements. Students who have backlogs in their respective semester or previous semester are advised to clear the backlogs to appear for placement or recruitment drive.

How the Pillai college is ?

Placement Experience:

Placements are not too average and you will able to take the placement cell interviews after the 5th semester. The highest package is 14 lpa and the average package is 3 lakhs. 20% of the college students get a placement from the college which is not the very good number but it is the trust this college is not placements it is just form festivals and events.
