Remarks

I pick the B.Sc course since I had a decent interest in clinical investigations. Employees are exceptionally steady and have shown experience of 7 to 8 years. There are around 20 instructors in our group which means around 15 understudies for every educator. Instructors cause understudies to comprehend in the most ideal ways. Understudies are prepared to the degree that they can proceed to make fortunes all over the place. Term tests are held twice consistently. The trouble is moderate pass rate is above half.

Course Curriculum Overview

The campus is allotted for Ph.D. students for their research works. In my course a lot of students got internships. Many national and international companies often offer various programs offering students job opportunities. Companies on average give above 20000 packages to students. About 40% of students get govt jobs. I want to study further and apply for the teacher post.

Fees and Financial Aid

Being a Govt run college, the fee structure is quite affordable for students from all classes of the society, with average fee for any stream like Arts or Commerce being less than 6000 rupees a year. For students belonging to economically weak sections of the society the college is a very good option.

Campus Life

All festivals are conducted especially on 15 August independence day and all Indian festivals all festivals are celebrated in the college and other events also cycling riding racing and picnics also this is the short review.

sp college:the beginning of my adult life

Likes

i like the inclusiveness of my college i.e you never feel left out
there is no discrimination of any sort . students/ teachers dont interfere in your personal life
ragging is non existant you wont feel the junior/senior dynamic

Dislikes

although i dont hate my college but there are some minor issues which can be solved like labs can be updated
some teachers can be more linent on attendance
toilets can be increased and heating/cooling system can be installed

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course starts from basic mechanics and goes all the way to astrophysics it basically sets your base for doing wonders in all branches of physics be it astro physics quantum physics or classical physics. the areas which i want my college to improve is in the digitization of course and integration of technology in the teaching method

Likes

The environment of the college is good and very student friendly .
Ragging and harrasment have zero tolerance policy
We have been on some field trips also on a picnic

Dislikes

Poor infrastructure and poorly maintained buildings
The sports department is in shambolic state . No opportunity to sportpersons l
Mismanagement of our time by not managing our time table

I want to do pursue the BSc in zoology because I liked the like that however is the additional additional subjects that are given with the zoology under the new education policy are not good at all I struggle for the most part of my education like with my Hindi subject I didn't want to learn Hindi but I had to because it was an obligatory subject to pursue. Exams are medium level but they happen quite of you every third month

Likes

College campus is best as we enter the college
Spending time with friends at the campus in free tym is just like awesome
All facilities are available in campus playground, swimming , library etc.

Dislikes

Canteen is small according to student population
Sitting space in canteen is not as much gud
Some appliances are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all, I had taken science in my 12th too, that is why I wanted to continue in science and due to my interest in physics and chemistry, I continued in this course. The curriculum provides me with Whatever is sufficient in my course and whatever knowledge I need, I will have more than that. Exam timing should be in the afternoon only because morning gets very late in coming due to which exam gets skipped, rest it is perfect

Read Before Joining S.p College Srinagar.

Likes

College has a newly constructed classroom building of 5 -6 floors equiped with smartboards & new infrastructure.
Teachers are very cooperative & friendly with students
College has a great environment & far away from highway making it less noisy from traffic noise.

Dislikes

College has a very small campus size & no one is talking about that
College does not care about hostellers for instance we were drinking unpurified water from last year
Not clean drinking water for students, tastes sandy when you drink it no purifier

Course Curriculum Overview:

Information technology was my interest based course that I opted in.. but when I saw the course syllabus it was old & theoretical based, lacks new & fresh syllabus would not guarantee job. Course could be better if newly updated syllabus would be include. Despite having smartboards no one is teaching on them or talking about using them.. Exams & syllabus Easy because of old curriculam

Likes

The infrastructure of the university is really nice.
The weather and environment is beautiful.
Facilities are provided for the student such as medical aid centre.

Dislikes

Food present in the grocery is very limited.
Their is a big problem of monkeys that students have to deal with on daily basis.
Their are no local transportion available for the students.

The course has useful subjects that prepare you for real world application however the elective courses could use a better curriculum. The teaching methods of professors are very effective and interest inducing. We have 2 minor exams and 1 major exam at the end of the semester.

College has less number of college transport vechiles. Toilets and other infrastructure is not upto standard. Cafeteria area is small. Sports ground is not so maintained. Classrooms are not smart. More staff is needed.

My college is the best college in North India as it have all the things from nature to the infrastructure everything is present in it's best way and the campus of our college is admiring and liked by all. Administration of all college is up to Mark and very well.

The lavish Amar singh college (pros & cons)

I actually choose various colleges but my first preference was this college and due to my good grades i got admission in this college. I was not rejected by other colleges but i choose this one as first preference because it is one of the leading college in kashmir.
