VITEE 14213 rank and at that time this was suggested by most of the seniors from my 12th standard college. After looking at the infrastructure and a huge campus my mind was diverted towards VIT and I blindly took a decision to join VIT & I never regret that.
Internships Opportunities
College gives you a lot of opportunities by calling a lot of companies that provide internships. Depending upon how good you are the stipend that will vary, but if you a smart enough to manage that internship you will make around 20K per month.
Placement Experience
Every year a lot of companies come to college for placements. Almost 350 companies came in 2016 and every year it is increasing drastically almost all the CS, IT people are getting placed with a good package compared to other branches.
College Events
There are two main events every year one is the technical event GRAVITAS and the other one is RIVIERA a cultural fest. gravitas provides everyone an opportunity to participate in technical events like workshops, hacking competitions, and a lot more whereas the riviera will be filled with a lot of fun and pro shows where different celebrities perform on the stage.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you are really poor enough that you can't afford to study in VIT then no worries VIT provide scholarship every year based on their academic performance and financial background and every year all the district toppers of Tamil Nadu gets a free seat in VIT.
Campus Life
Well, there is an almost a 5:3 ratio when you compare the strength of boys and girls, coming to the extracurricular there are a lot of things where you can improve your existing skills or develop a new skill. There are different clubs and chapters where you can take part and have some exposure to new things outside the academics all the clubs like debate society, sports club, gaming club and a lot more are there in college each.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, there are a lot of alumni & senior students who will help you out when you have any problem with VIT. Every time when some ends in a problem like taking courses the senior plays a key role in solving it.
Exam Structure
Exams are too hectic and quite common in engineering. But thanks to VIT that it doesn't conduct too many exams for internal just a couple of times in a semester for both theory and lab. So you will remain free from except those two weeks of exams in a semester and one more term-end examination as your final one in the semester most of the time you can chill out.
Faculty
In VIT you will find the best faculty who are well designated and friendly too. All most every faculty takes part in the research work and helps you if you need any help in that research. Most of the teachers encourage students to take part in research and project instead of just doing class-based learning.
