Entrance Preview

Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination was the name of examination. I preferred this college because it is one of the best. The culture and heritage of this institute is simply one of it's kind. It is governed by central government.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I preferred electrical branch. I am currently in first year so can't tell much. But til now everything has been awesome. Teachers are supporting. Infrastructure is amazing. Libraries offer great help. Books can also be rented from college book bank at a much lesser cost then cost of books which help economically.

Internships Opportunities

I simply does not know about the internships that are offered by the college because I haven't spent enough time here to know about internships.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements and job opportunities offered by various companies coming in college is good. Various companies like TCS(Tata Consultancy Services), WIPRO comes to our college for placements and job opportunities. Almost all the students who wish to work in a company get their chance.

College Events

5

Our university is known for its culture and heritage. A lot of events are celebrated in our college like ZARF, Library Fest etc which are all awesome. The freshers party and farewell party are also great opportunities for students of various semesters meeting and knowing each other.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is simply great. It is probably the cheapest in all over India. The central government helps the students by minimizing the fees low enough so that students can concentrate on their studies easily without worrying about the money. I paid approx 12000 INR for an year that is two semesters. Another 2000 INR for the books from Book bank.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is low enough itself that the scholarship or loan facility is simply not required.

Campus Life

5

Campus life is just great. One can find people from all over the world in our college. There are many extracurricular activities like SAE clib, Robotics club, Library club etc which are awesome. SAE club of our college developed a formula racing car which is great.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I have not taken the hostel facility because my family house is near to the college. But some of my friends do live in hostile and they are really very happy about the facilities provided. If any problem are faced by them, college staff as well as student's union helps them in every possible way.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni support is well know for they provide support to students in need. Senior students are also very supportive. They provide help in each and every aspect.

Exam Structure

The examinations and the laboratories are neither too frequent nor too chilled but it is a balance which is perfect. Ours is the semester system in which every year, there are two semesters leaving us with two mid semester examinations and two end semester examinations.

Admission

For the admission, firstly the notification was released to fill the forms. The course was declared alongside. The test was of objective type. 150 ques (50 each of physics, chemistry and maths) had 4 choices each which had 1 correct and other 3 wrong. After approx 2-3 months, the result was declared which consisted of selected students along with chance memo students.

Faculty

4.5

All teachers are amazing. They are like a ocean of knowledge. All teachers support the students in every way possible. Not only in studies but also in any problem that is faced by any student. They teach in efficient way by giving the subject related videos and presentations.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.
