Remarks

University in my hometownGood scenario & faculty Favourtism perhaps in scoring Admission process lengthy and a bit more formalities.Hectic & disrupted exam system.Overall, better university in my hometown among others.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I got selected for two courses.Among biochemistry & Food science, I opted for Food Science because it was not super saturated and teaching review was better than other fields.Apart from this timely exams scenario was upto the mark.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Yeah, i had an internship within the state with Khyber Milk plant and CA stores. That was quite interesting.Apart from that Campus offered Industrial tours and educational tours that too out of state.

Placement Experience

3

Regarding the placements in my campus.I must say 40% is there because 60% go for phd courses and prepare for that.Apart from this, another field student opt for is NET/SET examination.Others either go out of state for employment or join their family business.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Mine was 300K perhaps apart from other fees like examination, study material & allied ones. There was scholarship for first 3 ranks and regarding placement, no such scene.Yeah! Internships & educational tours were in our course.

Campus Life

5

Campus life was upto the mark. The location of the campus is breathtaking. No one can feel bored or unattentive there.Apart from that various festivals like Sonzal, Funtoosh were organised every year.Classrooms were well organised and well spaced with all facilities.Libraries were well organised.Wifi connection and other necessities were provided within the tenure.Proper ID & password was given to the student to surf various journals and papers for their dissertation.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

No.I was residing close to my campus. No requirment for hostel. No idea about hostel in campus.Still heard from batchmates, it was quite good and disciplined enough.Seperate hostel for boys & girls.

Admission

Yes ofcourse.First step was Entrance Test.2nd step was qualifying merit pts.3rd was counselling session. After that admission formalities to be fulfilled once selected under normal quota and availability of seats for that course.

Agriculture subject is practical oriented and you will enjoy visiting agriculture fields and that was the sole reason i choose this field. The curriculum is well designed and you will not feel any problem while helping farmers in real world.. Improvement needed in practical work i.e more practical work should be done.

The practical nature of this course dragged me to choose this course. The course is well designed to solve the every day's problem. The practical portion should be enhanced more to inculcate practical knowledge. In a year 4 exams are conducted at an interval of 3 months.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course includes subjects that are beneficial for me. For example: Gender and Society – teaches me about society’s orthodox traditions and norms. Indian Knowledge System – explains how India’s knowledge has evolved over time. Literature – provides an overview of English literature, excluding stories and poems, and focuses only on the parts that are useful for us. Environmental Studies – gives knowledge about our surroundings, including living and non-living things. Political Science – a systematic study of the structure and behavior of the state and political institutions. Logical Reasoning – the best part of the course, very useful for our knowledge as well as civil services and defense exams. Law and Society – will help me in my further studies in law. Personally, the two specific subjects that made me choose this course were Law and Society and Logical Reasoning, because these subjects are rarely available elsewhere and will be very beneficial for me. The teachers are good at teaching, but there is a need to make changes in the teaching methods. As of now, there are only blackboards or whiteboards, whereas instead there should be smart panels, which would make learning more interactive and keep students engaged. Exams are held about two months after the semester begins — first internals and then externals. There is generally a two-month gap between the two. I believe the difficulty level depends on how deeply we understand the concepts and how well we prepare, although overall the difficulty is usually easy to moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college curriculum was quite nice and i would rate it from good to very good, The syllabus is really good and covers both theoretical foundationand practical applications, which make it suitable for students aiming for industry roles or higher studies Areas of improvement include updating some subjectsmore frequently to meet the industry needs.Teaching methods could also be improved by using more interactive sessions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.
