Remarks

It's become a commercial environment that produces students rather than thinkers, and it's becoming increasingly culturally deficient. I always wanted to pursue interior designing and my admission was all online . One can visit their official website for more information.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It used to be more research-based and innovation-driven, but now it's more commercialised; they're concentrating on how to make more and more beautiful exhibit panels, but they're not focusing enough on innovative design methodologies, and they're focusing too much on professionalism in this discipline.Faculty and students are both quite interested, and debates take place virtually every day. Faculty with a high level of dedication, expertise, and sharp knowledge as well as a strong passion in their discipline are also accessible; faculty and students have a highly good and communicative connection.

Placement Experience

4

I dont have exact specific names for it, although lots of firms are interested to hire cept students. Most of the students start their own business after this course. The highest salary package was 1000000, and average was 5 LPA. I was satisfied enough.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive, yet the college offers a variety of payment alternatives, and students who are in financial distress, although having a bright future, are always taken into account. A middle class student can afford this according to me.

Campus Life

4

Cept University is a fantastic location to be; it's vibrant and active. They have well-kept and advanced workshops, as well as clean and adequate food offering canteens, as well as a variety of food alternatives and plenty of trees on campus.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No, but I used to live in the hostels, and they are well-maintained, with 24-hour access, power, and running water, as well as a canteen that serves affordable and healthy cuisine. The hostels are located on the Gujarat University Hostel Campus.

Admission

I was chosen in the preliminary round, followed by an interview, and then the merit list was released, with me ranking sixth in my category. The selection criteria are your sketching skills, lateral thinking drive, and problem-solving attitude. These days, they ask for a written exam rather than an interview.

The average package is around 4–5 LPA, while the highest goes up to 15–20 LPA depending on the branch. Around 60–70% students get placed, especially from IT and CSE branches. Placement Experience:

After 4th year, students are eligible to sit for placements. Some students also receive a pre-placement offer in the 4th year itself. The students are first prepared for day zero, i.e., placement day, beforehand by conducting a mock interview, which is a voluntary session conducted by the placement committee. CV Vetting workshops are also conducted in the eighth semester because at the end of the 8th semester, the placements are made where tier-1 companies like Khaitan, AZB Partners, CAM, SAM, Trilegal, etc. In-house firms like Adani, ICICI Bank, Tata, and more come for recruiting students. Some students sit for placement; others who want to prepare for government exams like judiciary, UPSC, Public Prosecutor, etc. refrain from sitting in placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very well designed but not updated as per the recent industry standards if the respective fields. There are no subjects lile vontent writing or learning graphic designing as it's requied in the feild of mass communication. I wanted to learn news anchoring as that's why I remeber joining this course but there is no training to the practical aspects. If they add certificate courses or workshops on things that the industry is requiring it will make the students good enoug to go and earn as soon as the graduate. The exams are taken at teh very right times and the frequency is goo the difficulty level is same for student wo attend and the one who never came to college even once in the entire semester
