Remarks

It's fast depending upon the mhtcet marks as well as the jee main marks. there is a quota for Christian students. The college provides is cards and confirms admission details within a day and the process is very smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

Term exams are hold by the mumbai University and are conducted within the college. There are 2 teachers in every class and papers are opened in front of students so no chances of coping. The papers are moderate to solve.

Internships Opportunities

I had applied for equilibria for an internship. It was a startup for web development where I worked on designing the pages and making it interactive and gui. It was very helpful and had a great impact on my work place experience.

Placement Experience

From 3rd semester students start working on their resumes for college placement so that they get selected in the final year. Teachers are supportive and help the student with interview questions and building resumes

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there are option for educational loans and scholarships for students. College also conducts various internship programs where students can learn and some provide stipend depending on your work and efforts.

Campus Life

Ieee, itsa, codex, csi, sfitaa there are committee for students to enroll which conduct plenty of activities and events for students. Prayas is one of the famous college event that happens within the college.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. SFIT the brave,the bold and the pressured

I entered thru cap round which plays a significant role in course eligibility in prestigious colleges , this college was recommended to me by a long stream of family members and it has lived upto a part of its reputation. I didn't get rejected but SFIT my 3rd most important college as I had to check for other better colleges which i knew i couldn't get in as part of a strategy. Eligibility depends on aspects like college minority and minority eligibility in this case Catholic or Christian need to have 65 plus in percentile of CET .
