Entrance Preview

There is a particular entrance exam for Gautam Buddha University for which a form is to be filled by contacting the university itself. I scored well and received rank 29th in the exam. I opted for this course because i thought this is a complete package for a person who is business minded.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course was pretty good. There were plenty of subjects to learn about. The summer internships were good as well and the last semester dissertation research period is the time when you can actually focus on the research and get good grades. One might feel that the subjects are too much and often feel like they are repeating. But Overall it's good for a student to be thorough of everything he/she has learned.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, The college do provide internships. But the students also have the option of not opting for the internships college is providing and doing that on their own. Usually the college provides internships and the stipend is average about 7-8k a month.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placement is not that good. Few companies do come and visit the campus and the students even get selected. But most of the students do not get placed. The placements are based upon the students' own capabilities and potentials. So, If a student has good communication skills and has learned something from the course He/She has the chance of getting selected.

College Events

3.5

University celebrates a lot of festivals. Like there is one annual festival of college called as Abhivyanjana. Then every school of the university has got their own festival. Management school has got their own something. Engineering has got their own fest. And then there is sports day and other sports related fests too.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible considering the hostel stay and mess food for students. It is around 1,28,000 for a year including the mess fee and hostel fee. It is not that much. And the poor students can even fill out a form to get a cashback on that.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no loan facility for it. But, as i mentioned earlier for the poor children there is a form that can be filled and they can receive almost 75% of what they have paid as cashback. I have no idea about any scholarships either.

Campus Life

4.5

There is no gender ratio in the university except the fact that the girls' hostel timing and the boys' hostel timing differs but that too for the safety of the girls. There are sports, robotics and other extracurricular activities and they are pretty good.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel is good. There is electricity 24 hours. They provide Lan cable and the net is on 24 hours. One problem that the hostel has is the it has no air conditioner and it is very hard to live in the hostel in summers. Mess food is average and not that great. There is variety but a lack of taste.

Exam Structure

Exams are very hectic. They even put two exams in one day and sometimes if a student has got a back exam as well, He might have to give 3 exams in a day. College tries to finish all the exams as soon as possible so the students have to give two exams in a day with no holidays in between except sunday.

Admission

I filled out the form by contacting the university according to which i received the date of the exam. The exams for this university are conducted all over india. As per me, I gave the entrance exam in university itself as i lived in the same city where the university is located i.e Greater noida. The exam is quite general and there is no negative marking.

Faculty

3

The faculty is not that great in the university. Some of them are really good but some are not. At times you'll feel that some teachers are just coming to pass their time in the class. But sometimes some of the teachers are so serious that they even give you homeworks like school and check them later on.

Placement Experience:

Usually companies start coming from the third semester. Companies like Info Edge, HCL, TCS, Google Turbo, etc. come in. And about 90% of students get placed. The highest package in MBA is Rs. 4 lakhsPA but this is a myth, usually placements happen below Rs. 10 lakhsLPA.Sales hr marketing researcher profile the offers. 90-95% I started my own startup after getting my degree.

Placement Experience:

Firstly speaking, no college can provide you placement. If you don't have that capability to catch that placement. Yes, majorly most of the students got placement. The highest placement which I have seen from my eyes was eight LPA, which was quite good if we see from starting if a new B is coming and he's got eight LPA, then it's really good, and yes, this college promises you that it will provide you placement, but the only condition is that you should be well-behaved and obey all the rules and regulations of this college. If you don't have that capability, you yourself can't do it. Yes, every year companies like Wipro companies like Amazon company companies like Flipkrt comes in this college and takes many of the students.
