The selection is based on merit come interview along with UGC NET. First of all a list is formed on the basis of grades of M.Sc and then interview was conducted in which your further research opinion was discussed. Based on all these parameters final list was made.

The course work is very good and in connection with your research. The student have the choice to pick any research related course in their minor and supporting courses. The main course is related to the main degree only. With the help of minor and supporting courses, it become easy to do research oriented experiments.

Yes training and internship is provided by the institute. In every semester break student can go for training. The college give permission letter and students can go for free industrial training.

Various companies visit the institute for campus placements like Verka, Markfed, Biofertilizer company, Breweries, Pharmaceutical companies. The offer good package around 4-5 Lakh in starting. Many students got selected through campus placements and now they are at reputed positions in various big brand companies.

Various events has been organised by the institute. Fresher's party is the first event conducted by SAASCA. Then rakhi, teej, independence day, diwali, youth festival, annual athletic meet, gurpurab, holi. All the festivals were celebrated by the college.

Various scholarships are there like PAU merit fellowship, Border area scholarship, Scholarship for SC/ST students, for Minority, PM fellowship for PhD, UGC fellowships for Master's and PhD.

Campus is made is very large area which is lushed with greenery. The area is very neat and clean. Various people come in morning and evening for walk. All the facilities are provided within the campus like library, photostat, market, juice corner, hospital, gym, park, guest house, food vendors etc etc.

Every year alumni meet occur. All the alumni come together and re-live their college days. It is very effort for the alumni. The alumni meet is not less than diwali celebration as it is celebrated on very large scale.

Exam structure is just like in foreign universities. First of first hourly of 10 to 20 marks were conducted just within the month of start of semester. Then mid term examination conducted and finally end term examination. Practicals also conducted in very good manner. The examination system is very good and students can score good grades if they start learning the things from the start of semester and also if they are regular.

I got admission in PAU, Ludhiana for master's (M.Sc. Microbiology). The admission was based on entrance exam and list of qualified students was uploaded. Then interview and certificate verification was done. The merit list is for whole basic science college and based on merit students pick their choice of field.

The faculty is highly educated and well qualified. All the faculty have UGC NET qualified. Only experts in their taught their area oriented courses, which makes course more easy to understand and also practical become easy to understand and perform. Teachers were very comfortable in practicals. They send the students for industrial visit for exposure.
