Entrance Preview
Well Amity has its own entrance exam in which there is a essay writing, and a personal interview round. Many of my siblings have studied from this college and are now at pretty good places.
Internships Opportunities
In my course, there was no internship thing so i have less knowledge regarding this. But yes my B.tech friends by their 3rd year end did internships , some provided by amity while others did by their own.
Placement Experience
Coming to the placement thing, avg package offered is around 3.5 per annum. However i have friends who were not toppers and still managed to grasp a package of 5.5 per annum. Knowledge is very important. You need to have very good communication skills.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is a little expensive than other colleges. Like for B.tech computer science fees per sem is 1,24000. Ac hostels charge is 140000 which does not includes food. Same with the non ac hostels they charge around 80,000 a year with no food . You need to take food from mess and pay there itself.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, Scholarships are provided to students who have got more than 92% in boards(50% scholarship) and above 88% in boards(25%scholarship) . Also, these scholarships also continue for the next coming years in college if a student performance is excellent. For loan , axis bank is the bank .
Exam Structure
Amity has a very very hectic schedule, never leaving the students free except for Saturday Sunday. You will have atleast 10 subjects to study each semester with 2-3 labs. Students have to give assignments as it is a part of internal assessment. Also, during summer vacations, a summer internship research has to be done by every student in their choice of field and give a presentation on that.
Faculty
Faculty is very supportive and always ready to help in any aspect. Teachers are usually very much skilled and professional. Almost all Phd's . They are very helpful in making understand things. Every department has that 1-2 teachers that student don't like but other than that i found faculty to be supportive.
