Entrance Preview

There was no entrance examination . The selection was on the basis of HS marks . I scored 52% in my HS examination.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was selected the course because it is very interesting to me. There is many scopes on this subject, specially in research . It has versatile topics which can make a indivisual research line in future . Like microbiology, bio-physis, biochemistry etc.

Internships Opportunities

This is a general degree course college so there were no internship held in college . Only the contents marks will help to do farther M.Sc.

College Events

There are many events held in our college such like nabin baran (freshers day), saraswati puja, college function, magazine publication events, Dance competition, song competitions . Sports event Independents day celebrations teachers day celebrations and much more.

Fees and Financial Aid

As far as my concern i did'nt take any lone or did'nt get any scholarship from this college . So I have no idea about this.

Exam Structure

The exams held annually first year marks obtain 200, 100 theory 100 practical. Second year 200 , 100 theory 100 practical, and third year 400 , 100 first paper theory , second paper 100 theory , third paper 100 practical fourth paper 100 practical. and the exam s are tough.

Admission

The admission was on the basis os H.S. marks. i applied for this college and waited for there panel list. They published 3 panel lists on the asis of marks hierarchy. And I was selected from the 3rd panel list. And department s of subjects were also get on the basis of the marks contain.

Faculty

Faculty were not so good. Classes were not in proper manner . Majority of faculty were not permanent teachers , even the HOD. Majority of faculty were busy on there own personal politics. we faces many inconvenience for behave of teachers. And even this thing also effects on our result.

Ba physiology hons is the course which has the duration of 3 years. It has good course structure and focuses a lot on research work. The syllabus is updated regularly. The days at the institution is generally very hectic and exams too are very tiring. The faculty of b.sc in physiology hons is very good. Besides Katwa College I have also applied for Kandi Raj College. I got confirmed by the college but there was a small issue with the distance and transport If I got admitted to Kandi Raj College so I would have to take buses or Rickshaws and for my current college I just take train. Our awesome college

There are both positive and negative remarks about our college. The teachers are very helpful. The infrastructure is quite not bad. The communication and transport is also good.
