ALL ABOUT SRMS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE GET INTO THE COLLEGE.

There are 2 ways to get admission to SRMS. First, via JEE marks or online counselling, and the second (that I take) is via direct admission. I have to apply to SRMS, in which some 12000 were submitted and if u reject the college, you would be getting your amount back, and then they have conducted a paper based on the 12th syllabus. somewhat around 212 students were given a paper with me, paper is of 2 hours and MCQ. Then they waited for us all to a hall till the result was out. they displayed the result on-screen with ranking and rank wise calling each student for taking admission and to select the branch. I gt 98 ranks and up till then the CS and IT branch got full, so I get ECE. Then we had to confirm and submit the fees of the college,

I have an interest in electronics so I choose this course. As I told in my batch the student is 63 and for every different subject, there are different teachers that include the lab faculties. So the ratio of teacher and students are very much fine. The qualification of the teachers are M.tech and their teaching is very much good. I can say that in entire Bareilly our (srms) teachers are the best. So, there are 2 tests and 1 pre-final in every semester of the B.tech course, these are before the main exam is conducted by APJ Abdul kalam institute. The difficulty level is difficult and we can say is the same or above the main exam difficulty level.

Placement is almost OK in this college, only final year students are eligible more like 7th semester. the company visited are low and mainly IT like TCS, Amazon, Mindtree. the bulk-hiring is done by TCS at my time and the rest company takes only 15 to 25 students. The number of companies hiring is low, mainly students have to rely on off-campus placements. The average package is 4 Lacs and in my batch, one girl got on amazon and got 17 LPA. But most students get 3.5 LPA. The percentage is around 50% if we include all the branches and if we talk about CS, IT and EC percentage rise to 80%. My plan is to get a place in a nice company as I was not selected by any company on campus.

As told the fees of 1 year is 125000 approx. which you can divide into 2 or even 3 sections of the submission. The fees are decent enough as compared to another college in UP. Apart from scholarships that students get from the state government, college is too providing it for brighter students up to 3rd year. Conditions are 1 If you score more than 75% in a year, u will get 20,000; 2 And above 80% It will be 25000 and 3 even above 85%, you will get the same figure scholarship as u score like for 89%, I would get 89000 Rupees.

An annual fest like AMODE, DJ night, and Tech fest are Robo war, Robo race, these all are conducted annually. A small fest like drawing, art, grammar, poetry, and computer are performed in 6-month intervals, either via 4th-year students or by faculties. The library is huge and does contain pretty much every study book u ever need. The journals and novel may be not up to the mark. Amenities are moderate nothing else green board and table and chairs to sit. Sports and extracurricular are impressive, As I told college holds a sports fest called AMODE the comes with nearly every sports competition and if there is competition there are equipment and preparation too. social and clubs are active only when the annual fest comes and yes many are made and run by students. Like singing, deco, dancing, sport, drama, anchoring and many more.
