Remarks

Admission to YMCA is through hates counseling which is held by hates after the declaration of result of jee mains. I did not apply for any other college because YMCA has a good location and is known for its placements. For admission in BTech in YMCA, one should have cleared jee mains. One should score a minimum of 90 percentile to seek admission in YMCA. Counseling is done in 2 rounds and if there is no seat allocation in both the rounds then there is a spot round in which vacant seats are filled up.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose ece branch in YMCA because the faculty is quite good here Proper labs facilities are provided and many tech companies recruit ECE students. There are almost 70 students in the class. Most of the faculty teaching here are Ph.D. holders and many of them are MTech graduates which work as assistant professors. Teachers have good knowledge here and well good at sharing the knowledge to students. Semester exams are held approximately after 4 months and they are quite easy to pass if a student is an average in a study he can easily pass the semester examinations.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities ties are very good in the YMCA due to its preferable location. Many companies offer many kinds of internship jobs. Companies like Flipkart Mahindra Eriksson IBM Yamaha give internship opportunities to students. And the students are paid well for the internships and they get good working experience. Many tech clubs work on many projects such as artificial intelligence and robotics and many tech companies like Amazon also provide opportunities

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement record of YMCA is too good and majorly for the core branches like cs it ece . Almost the 7th-semester students are eligible for the placements. There are a lot of good companies that recruit students from the YMCA. Companies like Amazon adobe cognizant IBM Gemini Flipkart Honda Maruti Samsung tcs recruit students there are lot of opportunities mainly for cs it and ece branch students. This year highest package is offered by Amazon is 30lpa for 5 students and the lowest package offered is 4lpa. The average package for each branch is about 5 lpa. Almost 80 percent of students from each branch get placed every year in good companies. I m also looking for a better job opportunity.

Fees and Financial Aid

One of the major reasons of choosing the YMCA is its reasonable fee structure. The fees in YMCA is quite reasonable and not much difficult to afford. The fee for the BTech program is about 70k per year. It also provides various scholarships to different students. There are many scholarship programs for economically weaker section obc SC at PWD candidates which provide better financial support. Almost 80% of students get internships with reasonable stipends.

Campus Life

4.5

Elements culmyca is the name of the annual fest held every year in YMCA. The fest is so so here. Sometimes big celebrities visit here and entertain the entire people. Besides that many singers like millind GABA Garry Sandhu came and made the fest full of energy and excitement. There is also tech fest held by various clubs in YMCA. The library facility is too good for the students who actually want to study. There are more than 50k books and journals in the library and the environment is too studious. Classrooms in YMCA are good but difficulties are faced in summer because there is no AC facility. There are many extracurricular activities held by socio-cultural clubs in YMCA. Almost every sport is played here but the ground is only one which is a major issue here. There are many tech clubs like a micro bird and coding clubs like Manan and many cultural clubs like bn and many more.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostels in YMCA are quite good and the amount is also too reasonable. Hostels provide a bed a fan and almirah for the things. The food of the mess is very good. There are no food problems in the mess of the YMCA which is also a good thing. Hostels are allotted to students who live far away from college. A major concern is that the hostel facility is only for 1st year. After that one should have to think of pg or flat. Bot nearby area of ymca is completely filled of various pg and flats. There is no living problem in pg and flats near ymca.

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
