THE ICFAI UNIVERSITY, DEHRADUN ( pros & cons)

Filled the admission form and then there was a personal interview. There was scholarship on the merit of the 12th score. The location and environment of the university are so beautiful and the faculties are quite intelligent with good skills.

I chose BA LLB because my aim is Judiciary. Faculties are helpful and the campus environment is good. Teachers are well qualified but there is issue with few teachers. In time of COVID students are having online classes and it is Running smoothly no doubt. We have midterms and end terms and to get scholarship based on boards maintaining 6 CGPA is highly necessary.

College provides you with their own internships. If you wish you can try it from other law firms also. Each student gets the topic and the work of research and also a case Analysis is given to each student. Then there is a viva round for all of the candidates.

From the 4th year every law aspirant should try for the placement and for hood placement there must be a strong cv. With the certificate of internship of various law firms and companies. The average package is 40k per month. My only aim is judiciary so I will look forward to it.

The fee structure is 65000 per semester and it decreases if you have any scholarship like the boards one. But the environment is very costly and hostel charge is very high. We got internship but that is not paid but you can try other internships too from other law firms and companies. Campus selection is just ok.

The life at the campus is very peaceful. Seniors will be friendly with you. There is no ragging allowed in the Campus. Every Friday there are some programs or guest lectures are organised by the university. There is good availability of books in the library. Those books are very helpful for the students and other study materials are also available there. When we talk about extracurricular activities then must say each festival are celebrated with different activities like dance song band painting etc. There are many clubs in the university campus like cultural club, laughter club, fashion club etc.

Hostel facilities are the best. They provide you good food, wi-fi facility is there, laundry will be provided to you, neat and clean room. They have three beds with three chair tables and three personal shelves. They will provide you van for the university to reach. 9000 per month is the hostel charge but I think this is too costly.

There was a personal interview on call for admission. Based on your boards and that personal interview you can get admission here. Process for the admission was to fill the application form and then to appear for the personal interview. For that interview, you must have knowledge of current issues and some legal knowledge.
