Course Curriculum Overview

The exams are held at the end of each semester. Each semester's time period is 6 months. The exams are of moderate difficulty level, having all types of questions - easy, medium, and hard. The vivas for practicals are on a tougher side.

Internships Opportunities

Companies that come for placement also come for internships and stipen varies from company to company. One whole semester is for internships after 7th sem. for internships as such project is not required but one major project and 2/3 minor projects are required for placements.

Placement Experience

The placements are pretty decent one gets placement in the last sem and internship after the 7th sem. On campus, companies come for internships as well as placement. Almost 90% of computer engineering students get placements. Some go for higher studies. Amazon , Flipkart, Adobe,Samsung are among the highest paying recruiters. Adobe comes for only girls. There is placement cell of university which is very active and let students know about all the things and requirements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for general students for 4 years is around 3.5lakh-4lakh .but for economically ewaker students University provide financial support in each semester. There is also policy in which through a scheme the studen gets a loan and can repay the loan once he/she gets a job.

Campus Life

There are various clubs in University: Ananya, photography, dance society, NCC, drama club, debating club, technical clubs: mana, geeksman, microbird. In the Mechanical club, students make cars and automobiles. The campus size is very small.

Hostel Facilities

Boys get a hostel for the first year only. Girls get a hostel for all the courses and all the years. the hostel is affordable. hostel timing for girls is strict 6 pm and for boys 10 pm. The boy's hostel condition is not so good. The food quality in hostel mess is good.

My admission process was smooth and I didn't face any difficulty in that. I gave an exam JEE MAINS and on basis of ranks I got YMCA and my desired field that is Computer Engineering with specialization in data science. The eligibility of our college is having to jee rank along with 75% in boards. Then we have to register in HSTES counseling which is for Haryana's' govt colleges and then maintain the priority list of branches and colleges in sequence. Reservation helps a lot in the first two counseling rounds but the third and fourth counseling rounds are open counseling rounds for the left seats.
