Remarks
I had applied to SIES and WeSchool. WeSchool had high cutoffs and sies was better for marketing while I preferred Finance hence NL Dalmia was one of the best options available. I didn't avail myself of any quota for admission. Admission Criteria: minimum 60% in graduation.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I wanted to have core knowledge about the finance stream. Student to Faculty Ratio: 3:10. Qualification of faculty: MPhil, PhD, Mcom, MBA, PGDM, CA etc. Exams: moderate level of difficulty and exams were held online.
Internships Opportunities
Internship: Companies such as SBI SG, IIFL, Finmen Advisors, Crisil, RBI were on board offering internships for various roles in finance and marketing. Projects: Students in trimester 4 are supposed to prepare a project based on their summer internship which is called a summer internship project (SIP).
Placement Experience
Eligibility for placements: From trimester 4. Companies: Crisil, SBI SG, Factset, HUL are on campus for placements. Highest: 12 lakhs p.a as per college website. Average: 9 lakhs p.a. as per college website. The placement process is still ongoing for batch 20-22.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee Policy: 10,30,000 for 2 years of PGDM for batch 2020 - 2022. Scholarship: No scholarships are offered by the college. Financial Assistance: I didn't avail any financial assistance from anywhere for admission.
Campus Life
Fest/Clubs: vishleshan, Mulyankan, Delta magazine, Ace Club, goonj Magazine, Finance forum are among the few clubs and magazine committees students can be part of as extracurricular activities. Books & Journey: hard copies and soft copies are provided by the college library.
Interview Experience
GD: the general discussion was held by the college wherein we had to talk for 1 minute based on the topic given by the faculty in charge of admission or panellist. Personal Interview: PI was followed by gd wherein 2 finance experts were interviewing the finance questions and gk questions. Preparations: newspapers, financial ratios and financial markets tracking.
