Glimpse of Amity through Alumni Life - A Game Changer

I applied to Amity University in 2016 and I got in selected in the admission process it was an interview process and where knowledge testing was done which was 10th and 12th based and also wanted to know why the interest in the course and how much of it do we know to purse it. I applied in the sponsored category and but there is not much difference rather than the fees being high for the sponsored category overall. The interviewers check the verbal communication as to how good of a communicator we are. the criteria for the program generally is 55% to 60 % and above. Age was not a factor taken into consideration over there as my seniors in my class were much older than I was. Overall the admission is easy if you are confident enough to present yourself at the very best level and the follow up details will be mentioned by the faculty without fail so it's not a thing to be worried about.

The Course curriculum is good and is revised every year and updates are made. so chances of subjects being jumbled up in different order are expected and are revised in different year batch wise and itis better as move closer to industry knowledge side more rather than academically oriented with the old school versions. As much transparency possible is maintained between students and faculty resulting in best work and play. All the faculties in the department are fully qualified for the subjects they teach and prepare and move forward for better innovation. All the exams get timed in an orderly manner and are performed in a scheduled manner from time to time with fail and exam well prepared are easy to pass with good prep.

Only from the final year of the course students are eligible for placement and that with 5CGPA and above. Many have come for placement with an average package of 3LPA to 4LPA and students max get 2 offers to take up. One or two companies that came with the highest package is 17LPA for Research Analyst purpose for PAN INDIA company. The percentage of students getting placed gets varied every year. I went for higher education as I was eager to pursue it.

The fees hikes by 5% - 6% as mentioned by the college in the offer letter and is done annually and full structured fees requirement are mentioned in dept in the offer letter. The scholarship is received if you maintained a consistent score of 85%,90%, 95% in 10th,12th and graduation. And also sports scholarship is present if there any and financial assistance is done by a third party and direct college through and no job on campus with stipend.

Life at the campus is good overall and character building opportunity for everyone who pursue and international bond are created through it and help one to grow in communication and be better street smart. And adapt to any condition they will be present. There are One Annual fest in March and a founder day celebration where many events will be present for participation. All amenities are present in the classroom as in projector, whiteboard and speaker and mic for a bigger audience. Sport is encouraged especially for founder day and other days as well. Many social and non social groups, clubs are present on campus for students to be enriched with themselves and grow.

The hostel is good and there single and share rooms available for both boys and girl in both ac and non ac block and fees for both varies that 90,000 + 10000 for non ac and 150000 + 10000 for ac. Food quality is average and not much to say about it. At the initial itself, registration of hostel and affordability will be informed to everyone who applies. Side of college GAte 2 side good PG is present for better food and facilities. And is good for College life with rent starting from Rs3500 to rs 22000. The average varies around Rs5-8k and good ones are available especially the one PG called Jagmohan PG( Run by an Uncle who is very kind and understanding and takes care of children as his own, well maintained PG neat and clean with all necessary facilities in the PG. The PG closes in the night at 11 pm and informing him he allows late entries when required[P.S - this PG is for boys and girls, Uncle can assist in finding a good one]) - personal experience.
