Remarks

A good reputation in finance was one of the key reasons to apply for this college. Didn't avail any quota minimum age 20 years, graduate in any stream with 60%, good percentile in entrance exams does make a difference in the composite score Since the covid pandemic the process was held on zoom platform, General Discussion one to one was held prior to the final interview round

roles offered are majorly on the sales side of financial products and the companies were CRISIL, Insplore, etc. My summer internship project was on Analysis of Life Insurance Industry in India and Fundamental and Technical Analysis of HDFC Life Insurance Company.

Just after the 4 th semester, students are allowed to sit for the placements, the highest package offered until October was 12lacs and the average being 9 lacs, I plan to do CFA after getting the degree, almost 100 percent placement

fee hike was 10pc vis a vis previous year, 40000 less due to covid, 465000 in the first year and the rest in the second year in installments due to covid no scholarships offered by college neither any Financial assistance, Insplore consultants summer internship, final placement NSEIL

due to covid not being able to attend the college on campus, the college has a digital library, USP being the Bloomberg learnings and the course that they offer is valuable, there are 8 clubs for students to be a part of which consistently organize competitions and activities.

the topic of General Discussion was Financial inclusion in a rural areas, there was a personal interview after the GD and was on terms of current affairs and basic financial knowledge and inclination towards it I prepared by preparing various topics for the GD by reading and gaining basic knowledge about financial management

Placement Experience:

Form the first semester itself students will be starting to get the internship opportunities as we have to complete 2 months of internship after first year. The third semester students, who come to campus after internship are all eligible for placements. JPMC, CRISIL, BNY, Federal Bank, KPMG, Tresvista, NUVAMA are a few of the companies visiting college. The highest CTC offered was INR 21.42LPA and the average CTC is INR 11 LPA.

My Experience at SSBF

Placement Experience:

The placements here are decent. For internship the record stands still at 100% and for the final pacements its 95% for all the eligible students. If there wouldn't have been any placements here, I would've opted for the employement outside on my own as I have personal contacts and references in the bfsi industry.

I had applied for Welingkar,TISS, GIM. I could not attend the process for getting into it because of family issue and time goes the application for this colleges get closed and one option was remain so I applied and took the addmission into NL Dalmia. Yes I get rejection from TISS because I couldn't clear the cut off marks required for this college. Addmission Process For NL Dalmia :- Round 1 :- Group Discussion Filteration Round : Giving any random topic (Current Affairs related to market) (Around 7,8 student seat together for this round pannel is around 2) Round 2 :- Personal Interview :- Checking the Knowledge about the Bachelor Subject and If experience could ask the question relevant to it. To sum it up

Admission process was easy and eveything was conveyed via the website of the college which any one can refer. Eligibility of the course is through any one of the entrance tests with particular score in all of the tests respectively. As I submitted my scorecard of both CMAT and MAH-CET, with ~84%ile and ~96%ile respectively, I was shortlisted for the PI round, as the second stage for the final selection process. The details regarding application form, application fees, and all vital dates were available over the net. They have mentioned that the acceptance rate is 4%, which can be brought down, so that there can be some more good quality of students, undoubtedly it is alright now, but everyone wants to progress whether being an institute or any organisation for that matter, and hence just a suggestion for the same....Read More
