Management quota, I have taken ECE. I always wanted to do this course from a younger age. Have many of my seniors here who encouraged me and saw me through here. I hope I score good grades and come out of bright colours.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is ofcourse one of the best course in engineering field in day to day life. It has a lot of scope. Both in software and hardware aspects. Having a degree in bachelor of engineering through electronic and communication course is very advantageous . Lots of intake of students for this branch in our college it is 120 students per batch.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, There is a provision for internships from our college. Recently our college had a internships tie up with the BMRCL (Bangalore metro railway corporation limited).
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are high for all eligible students. About 96% of all eligible students get placed in very good companies and also with a very good package . Various companies like HP , emc2, tech Mahindra offer packages varying from 2-3 lakhs p.a.
College Events
Apart from academics. My college conducts a technical fest called (tech-vidya) and a cultural fest (sanchalana) the technical fest is intercollegiate where as cultural fest is intra collegiate. The college is in its early stages. We haven't show up talents to the outside world. But we will surely make our events one of the biggest in Bangalore.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is all dependent on the way you get the seat. The normal CET based student will get to pay only the CET fees structure. And a nominal fee of the college as well. Whereas for the management quota seats. The amount various from 1-3 lakhs . Which is not that expensive when compared to other top colleges in Bangalore.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a provision for scholarships in our college called kare-pass. Which is an government aided scholarship. These are for the students having a per capita income below 1 lakh p.a
Campus Life
The gender ratio is balanced in few branches like electronic and communication, electronic and electrical, computer science, information science, the ratio is not so balanced in civil and mechanical engineering departments. There are a number of workshops being conducted for various branches .
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is pretty good. I'm not a user of this facility so I don't know much about it. But as far as know through friends the hostel and mess food on average is pretty good. And the hostel fees per year is around 50k. Which includes stay and food.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni association is a area where the college needs to look up. There is a association present but the problem is that it is not so welled formed and managed .
Exam Structure
We have the final marks divided into internals and externals. The internals are valued for 25 marks and the externals for 100. Per subject it is a grand total of 125. Overall the exams and labs are perfectly poised . Leaving students in a calm position.
Faculty
Faculty of our branch ,that is, electronic and communication engineering in bachelor of engineering is very highly qualified and knowledgeable. We are lucky to have such experienced faculty teaching us the subjects which we feel the subjects are just a cake walk.
