CU life

The admission process was very easy in Chandigarh University for the LLB course, they made us understand all things about the university and course and they helped us with future careers options also. The counselling day was very nice as they helped us to make a clear mind about our future options, they showed us all the opportunities what can be done in further.

Law always seems to be an intriguing process and what we can achieve through this. Law teachers here are very good as they themselves are also practising lawyers which help us to gain more perspective and most importantly their methods are very good and easy for everyone to understand. Per semester exams happen 3 times. 2 times unit tests and 1 final examination and examination are quite good which tests us in every aspect.

Placement offers are good in the college many good companies come in college like Google, Microsoft, Paytm, Hindustan Unilever, Detroit and many more. College provides the students with the project, on that basis students get the opportunities for the placement.

Placements are very good in the college as they provide packages up to 35-40 lakh PA. A student is eligible from the very beginning as their marks are noted and on that basis, it is noted and but last year is most important as marks of last year are most important but it will be good for everyone if marks are consistent that'll show a good image of a student.

Fees are fine by me for a private university. 47000 and they organise scholarships test every year for students and don't know much about on campus jobs. Fees remain the same through the degree. But if a student wants they can open their shop or work in any shop on the campus.

Life is very good on the campus, very warm, very friendly, theirs also an open theatre in the college. Students play guitar sing have fun. There are shops we can eat every type of food. Hostel life is the best as no one can ever get bored in the hostel if one finds good friends. Theirs also a sports complex on the south campus so students interested in sports can also find so many opportunities there. There is a library in each department so students can go and study there and find books for their studies and there is also one main library for the whole college which is open till late time and anyone can go there and study. In classroom digital teaching is also their and even in big classrooms mic is also present so everyone can hear what teachers are saying. And their are many groups, clubs that students manage and do many activities and include other students into their respective groups and clubs on the basis of their talent.

Hostels are very good and there is a centralised cooler system in the rooms and a balcony is there in every room so rooms are very cool and good. And the food is not that great but good, sometimes it is very good also. The registration process of the hostel is very easy as you opt for hostel they accommodate you in the room and the best thing is that they accommodate you with the person of your department and if anyone wants to change their rooms like if anyone wants to go with their respective friends it is also an easy process. And fees of the 2018 batch of the hostel was 84000 thousand for a year which includes everything. WiFi, gym, mess. There are full well settled societies near college within 10 km distance of college so and Pg just near the college so it is very easy and convenient for students.
