Remarks
The admission process was smooth, it didn't take much time for me. You should score a minimum of 96 percentile in CET to get admission to the CS branch. The admission criteria are very simple, you just need to keep all the necessary documents with you at the time of admission. It's better if you keep 5 copies of each. The admission process is quite fast so you need to keep your ears open and be attentive all the time.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I had an interest in CS from childhood. I imagined myself as a software engineer from long ago. Each class has 64 students. Also, Shri Ramdeobaba College Of Engineering And Management is a very reputed institution in Nagpur. At that time it had a NIRF rank of 113 which was very cool. Faculties are great no doubt about that. The exams are quite difficult and the tests are hard too. But if you study well you can easily Crack all of those.
Internships Opportunities
Companies like Techwalnut, United Electricals, Bizsense Solutions, Harmony provide internships on campus. Projects like Remote Meter Reading and Billing, Gate Automation using Arduino YUN, and many more are available.
Placement Experience
The college has above average placements. Big companies visit the college to take students on campus. The highest package last year was 27 Lakhs. A lot of students get placed so no worries about the percentage. My plans after the degree are to take a job in a well known and good salary paying company.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you belong to General, you have a fee of 1.5 lakh approx. If you belong to OBC, you have a fee of 93 K. If you belong to Sc/St, you have a fee of 23 K. Also if take admission through TFWS, you have a fee of 23 K.
Campus Life
Sports are a bit hazy in the college due to lack of big grounds but the college doesn't give the opportunity to not play. They provide grounds to players. Many clubs are run by students. I am a member of the Technical club. Many activities are arranged throughout the time. These activities are fun but very challenging too.
