A central university which offers MBA program exclusively for engineering graduates on Quarter system which offers the students to read and learn a wide range of courses on various management fields such as General Management, Economy, HRM, Marketing, Finance, IT, and Operations. It may take time for the students to adopt to the quarter system and students may feel stressful initially. But, after the students understand the wide exposure they get through these courses, they will have a happy face.

University has distinguished and highly experienced faculty with Ph.D. degrees. The student-teacher ratio was like 60:1. There is an innovative way of teaching - learning process in the university where faculty makes the students understand the basics of every concept very well and then make the students learn deep into the subjects. By the end of the every course, students will be in a position to understand the practicality and application of the learned course concepts.

Numerous students opt for internships in their final years to get exposure to the corporate world. Especially, the students of MBA program has to take up a mandatory 8 week internship program after the first year of study in any company based on their interests. Mostly, students will apply to the companies by themselves through various online platforms and join. At the rarest cases, students may get the help or recommendations from the professors regarding the internships. During the internships, students get the stipends ranging from Zero stipend to 40,000 per month depending on the company profile.

There is a separate training and placement cell to explore the employment opportunities for the students which are headed by professors. Speaking about the whole campus, there will be both faculty and student coordinators selected every year from each department to let their respective department students get placed by exploring the placement opportunities and reaching out to the probable companies. Usually, students start attending interviews from the last but one semester. At least 150 companies from wide range of industries visit the campus every year with different job roles offered to the students. At the end of every academic year, nearly 85-90% of the students will get placed in some company either in the on-campus or off-campus mode with good lpa . In the worst case, if any student fails to get employed, he/she can still explore opportunities and excel in the market with the KSAs developed during the campus stay.

Being a central university, the course fee is very less when compared to the private universities. The return on investment will be high for every student who gets placed in the campus as the minimum lpa offered by the companies would be 4.5 lpa .

In one word, campus life is awesome I could say. Once we take admission and step in, we can start feeling the multi-cultural, multi-lingual atmosphere in the campus as there will be students from different parts of the country and world as well. The students are encouraged to be a part of various student clubs of their interests in which they can explore the opportunities to present their talent and KSAs and learn from others too. There were national level fests occurred thrice in the year which make the campus gates wide open for other university students and industrial professionals to come and participate in various events.

The admission process consists of entrance test clearance, GD and personal interview. The GD topics given to me were more generic to the employee and manpower management at the crisis or unexpected situations in the organizations. 15 mins time will be given for the GD and discussion takes place under the supervision of 2-3 professors. The personal interview was more concentrated on knowing my interests and motivation to pursue the MBA course. It's more like a thought sharing discussion between professors and me. Interview went on for nearly 20 mins.
