Entrance Preview

Jee Main is the most prominent national level entrance exam considered for admission to UG engineering programs in NIT/IIITS/CFTIs and other State-level & private institutions.I qualified the same exam with 111 marks,I did not expect this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Assessment can vary from course to course and can include a combination of class work, tutorials, assignments, laboratory work, quizzes, project work and exams. The institute runs the following academic programmes. Integrated Post Graduate (IPG) Programme .The Institute offers a five - year dual degree Integrated Post Graduate (IPG) programme.

Internships Opportunities

The Summer Internship Program is designed to provide people an opportunity to spend a summer working side-by-side with some of the most renowned faculty in the college in an environment devoted exclusively to computer research.

Fees and Financial Aid

To provide the much needed financial support to deserving students for pursuing higher professional or technical education in India and abroad. The education loan would be provided to those students who have obtained admission to career-oriented courses e.g. medicine, engineering, management etc, either at the graduate or post-graduate level.

Hostel Facilities

Presently, there are 4 hostels in the campus, 3 for men, 1 for women students/research scholars The hostel administration is headed by the Chief Warden and his team of wardens, the total occupancy capacity in all the hostels is 1200 residents. SC/ST students and all women students are exempted from payment of tuition fee but they have to deposit hostel and mess fee.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The success of the institutes alumni, has helped in developing a brand name for ABV-IIITM Gwalior. The association of the alumni is the axis through which the alumni interact among themselves as well as with their alma mater. The association also acts as a forum where by the Institute obtains feedback to improve and update its various educational programmes.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

Good but not Bad

Placement Experience:

From the 4th semester student can apply for internships and for placement student should be in 5th semester of his or her college life. There's very difficulties in getting placed by the company because few of the company comes to college and very fewer gets placed. So student must develop the skills on their own and apply for off campus selection. More than 8.5 cgpa for average package and more than 9 cgpa is required for a good company... my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

The other colleges that I applied to were: IIIT Lucknow in which i was getting B.Tech in computer science and some private colleges.
