Course Curriculum is excellent. Although theoretical aspects are taught well, however practical side could have been more exciting. There are professors with varied research areas and expertise, some can explain so well that you will not need to refer a book again while some could be boring and a bit old-fashioned in their way of teaching. Overall the faculty was good and exams were moderate to tough, so you would need a good understanding of the topic, no matter how much you study yourself. Grading was mostly relative, so your grades would be affected by your peers' perfrormance.But hardly ever anyone fails in a course.

Samsung, Bangalore. Stipend:- 50K. It was a pure research role where we had to develop a neural model to predict handwritten strokes of Tamil and Hindi languages, given an image and print a sequence of 2D-coordinates to represent that.

Placement season starts during the 7th sem. Many reputed companies like Google, Microsoft hire around 7-10 students at a high base pay. Although the covid years are seeing a slight decline in core company placements, there has been a steady rise in the non-core sector. Since placements continue till May end, you can expect yourself to atleast be placed in a startup if not a branded company. Also your college degree offers a good rand value, so you can try off-campus too if u are not satisfied with on-campus.

There are various intra-hostel fests throughout the year. Two very prominent fests open to public are Techniche(Techfest) and Alcheringha(Cultural Fest). Both these fests have witnessed famous composers and experts from music and tech fields. You have to be physically present to enjoy the thrill. Also there is a huge library, but I mostly preferred downloading books online since it saved time from long queues and also saved us from the harassment of late library fees.For socializing and excelling in the practical aspects of any field, there are various clubs like coding club, robotics club, finance club etc. I was personally a member of coding club an attended their seminars and workshops from time to time conducted by seniors which were much more fun than theoretical learning.

Entrance is through JEE advanced, which is really tough without advance preparations. I would advise joining a coaching institute for two years and be resolute in your career choice. For instance, I had scored 278 out of 360 to get my current rank, so you can expect that one or two careless mistakes could lose you a chance.
