Remarks

First thing was that the fees were affordable and the other is that IIIT Surat is mentored by SVNIT so i thought that the facilities might be good and the placementight also be good. And as it is of national importance now I hope it provides good opportunity in future.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Subjects they offer for both the branches that is CSE and ECE are really good even the Curriculum is good but the faculties are not as expected. All the faculties are not excellent in fact some of them are freshers in the field of teaching. The exams are conducted twice in a semester(mid semester and end semester) and there are 4 quizzes (10 marks) every semester. The exams are not very difficult to score if u attend lectures properly.

Placement Experience

Students generally get placed before there 7th semester but as IIIT surat is getting established students really have to try off campus to get a job. In the first placements of the campus that is in 2017-2021 batch around 60% percent of students are placed or have got admission in one or another University for there masters. Even I am planning to go for masters after i complete my graduation.

Campus Life

The Life at campus is really good. The fests are conducted by SVNIT where students of IIIT can participate in every activity. There are clubs in SVNIT as well as IIIT for all students. There are singing ,poetry , dancing, gaming and so many more clubs to participate in. The campus has many sports facilities in it. They have Table tennis tables in every hostel 2 bedminton court , gym , cricket ground , space for football, volleyball courts , tennis courts and are maintained well.

JEE mains is the only way to take admission into the college. I scored 98 percentile in my JEE mains

Admission

No there was no Group Discussion or Interview for admission process. But as you might know that you have to attempt for JEE mains and try to get a score of atleast 96 percentile if general category

My honest Experience at Ahmedabad University

Placements at Ahmedabad University are structured and well-organised. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester, and the placements cell starts preparing us earlier through workshops, mock interviews and resume sessions. A good range of companies visit the campus, including consulting firms, it companies, finance and analytics roles, start-ups and well-known multinational organisations. The number of offers varies each year, but most visiting companies recruit for roles like business analysts, software developers, marketing associates, finance trainees and operations roles.

Placement at GEC Gandhinagar are decent but not as strong as the top engineering college in Gujarat while a few repeatable companies visit the frequency and variety could be better many students with good gpas and project work seek your decent job either through the collegial or by actively applying on their own for those who dont get campus placement the college still provide a solid foundation you can pursue higher studies take certification course or enter the IT or core industry thought of campus jobs overall the experience prepares you sufficiently for the next step But its wise to Proactive about your career.

Placement Experience:

Their is an placement faculty in my college, many companies like torrent, birla, tcs etc and many more companies visit our college. Also our college provides internship for students. The average salary pakage is about 3 lakhs which is less and about 65% of students are placed every year. Highest pakage of my college is about 8lacks per annum. About my plan after completing degree is that if college place me for about salary upto 6 lakhs then i will place otherwise i will go for preparation of "GPSC" exam and set the carrier their.

There were 67% students placed in year 2024. My Plan is to go abroad for Masters after getiing my degree.

Placement Experience:

Placement in this college is quite good and it also depends on the grades of the students. Highest package goes to 14 lakhs per annum and the average package goes to 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. As the students enter into their 7th semester the placement process gets started and the students will go into th selected companies in their 8th semester and if the worked well their they can also get PPO which means that they can do their job for permanent time. Percentage of the students last time who got placed in big MNCs company goes to 87 percent and the rest students got their placement in some small company. My plan after my b tech degree is to get higher studies in Mtech by score a good mark in the GATE exam which is going to be held in February month.

Review the SVIT college by a dumbass who apparently decided to do D.voc????

Placement Experience:

Well we are not eligible for placements and I don't know about others. The college says studes have gotten jobs at companies like Google, MS, intel, AMD, Airbnb but not sure how true that is. Don't have info on what package students get on average or who's gotten the highest. Don't have info on percentage of students getting placements, but I ASSUME it's low and obviously students should apply for placements outside of campus anyways.

Great college for exploring and learning.

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college is good and students can start their placement drive from 7th semister and can sit in on-campus placement. The average package is around 11lpa and for cse its around 15lpa and the highest package was 60lpa. Total 75% students gets placed in various big and multinational companies.

Beautiful campus and great exposure.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semister students become eligible to sit in the placement of the college. The college providess oncampus placements and has various connections and ties with various companies like Google amazon and many other. Last year total of 75% students got placed with average of 11lpa package and highest package was 60 lpa. Also this college helps you get internship opportunities right from 2nd year which is very good.

Review of iiit surat

I want to study in western part of india i.e. gujarat or maharashtra. So I've encountered all best colleges in these two states, offcourse iitb will be number 1 but i have just cleared advanced and not even scored good marks in it and in mains i got 40k rank so i couldn't get into circuital branch in nit nagpur and nit surat, so i have decided iiit nagpur , iiit surat and iiit pune. Unfortunately i couldn't get into iiit pune due to high cutoff and got seat in iiit surat in csab 2024.
