Remarks

The main reason I opted for GLA University is because of their number of achievements. They have been ranked among the top private institutions in India by various entities. They also have an A grade accreditation from NAAC. The admission process when I joined required me to attempt the GLAET exam. On clearing this exam I was granted admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty were very supportive and conducted activities like seminars and different projects to cover the course. I chose BBA Hons because the course covered topics like Developing competitive edge and Managerial aptitude. Under the Business Management school we had about 112 faculties. All of them were very qualified.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 360000 per year

Placement Experience

Big companies like Samsung, WIPRO, Infosys, etc come to our campus each year to recruit eligible candidates. On an average, 76% of students from campus have been getting placed each year. The salary packages offered are between 4.5 lacs and 32 lacs per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of my course were 118000, 120000, 122000 in my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years respectively. The fees covered almost all expenses for the 3 years. I was not able to avail any scholarships due to the criteria. Scholarships are given to students from economically weak backgrounds and to those from SC/ST categories through the social welfare department.

Campus Life

We had lecture halls, conference halls, libraries that were air-conditioned and very comfortable. We had fests like Spandan, Maitree where a lot of cultural events were hosted. Apart from that we also had annual sports meets where athletic student got a chance to shine.

The college does not offer strong placemnent offers. Very few companies visit for relavant role placements. There are almost no companies coming for masss recuitement. The average and the highest packages are limited.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement after 6 th semester and at the starting of 6 semester students start getting ppo i.e pre placement offers and other things . This year many companies have visited here like wipro,hcl,etc and the average package is 8 lpa and percentage of students placed are 15 to 20 percent.

Generally, in the 7th semester, students sit for placement. Some top recruiters of our college are Samsung RnD Noida, Samsung Delhi, Axon, Bajaj, Xceedance, TCS, etc. The placement ratio varies from branch to branch in chemical engineering or mechanical engineering almost all students got placed with an average of 6-7 LPA, in Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology branch 70-80% students got placed with an average of 11-12 LPA and highest of 35 LPA.

When I didn't get into MBBS at first, I used to run away from veterinary because it was never my first choice, but as I kept growing, I got to know the opportunities and vastness of this field, which motivated me to keep going. You can do whatever you want after BBVSc, be it a government job as an VO or preparing for civil services, or you can open your own clinic in any city. Exams happen every 3 months or 3 times, which you have to pass so that you can sit in final exams that happen just after the 3rd internals. Internals usually are easy, while final exams are moderate and hard, along with the practicals also.

Placement Experience:

There are big and large companies visiting our colleges like Google, Tata and Amazon. The highest package offered by the company is 40 lakh. The average package is 15 lakhs per annum. Approx 80 per cent of students get placement after completing the course. My plan is to become a finance assistant after completing my degree.

GLA Mathura needs to upgrade their hostels!

GLA admission test and CLAT scores both are accepted here and also students with no brainer gets admission here. The reason is university has seats like a pack of cards and any number of students can be admitted here. GLA University is great!

GLA University like many private university has its assessment test and for law it's same as CLAT. Trust me it wasn't easy it's just that competition was not high as CLAT otherwise it is difficult to enter GLA too.
