IIT Madras and PGDM

MBA was the field that I wanted to pursue my career in with IIT Madras being the top choice for me due to the level of education and placements that are provided to the students. The admission in the college is done through the system of CAT scores followed by graduation score and a round of personal interview in which my interests and my future plans were asked.

Number of articles, journals, presentations, case studies and many more are presented to the students which helps them gain a lot of advantage over their study curriculum. The teachers are really helpful with providing immense support at all points. There are exams held after the completion of each semester with class tests being concluded every alternate week.

IIT Madras provides an excellent opportunity for placements with the highest salary averaged was at 14 lakh with the highest being at 88 lakh with companies like Google, Samsung, Flipkart, ITC limited approaching the campus. There are various mock interviews that the college helps the students to prepare for.

Fee has to be paid after the completion of each semester with the amount being divided by he number of semesters. The scholarship programme in the college is provided to the students with annual income being less than 2 lakh and other scholarships provided on the basis of merit.

Living the campus life was one of the best experience that I have come across with multiple events like ICON, Tech fest,Mechanica and Samanvay taking place. there were number of seminars and webinars held in the auditorium. There are multiple clubs like finance club, marketing club and more. The book collection in the library is just great with option of accessing offline journals too.

I paid 25,000 per year for my hostel that was given by the college itself with a refundable of 3,000 is charged which is returned after the completion of the stay. The hostel has all the facilities like washing machines, sports facilities, Tech rooms, music rooms, TV rooms. The food is really very tasty and healthy with 4 meals are provided by the hostel.
