Remarks

College allotted through CAP round. The administrative department of the college helped a lot through the admission process. The experience was very good. The counseling day was great with an introduction to the magnificent college infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

Mechanical Engineering Department is one the best department in the college, with 1st class lap and workshop. In addition to the best-in-class facilities that are eager to teach, motivate and guide students.

Internships Opportunities

The campus is based in Patalganga MIDC. This MIDC is blessed with a number of large-scale industries. This results in a number of internships as well as industrial visit opportunities. The Reliance, Antony, Castrol, Parle, Etc are various industries available in MIDC.

Placement Experience

The placement opportunities were good before the COVID 19, after the lockdown the placement number took a big hit as other colleges did to. But now the placement numbers are going up again. Other than campus placement there are few job directly on recommendations also.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is in a similar range to that of other private engineering colleges, but there are a lot of scholarship opportunities for economically backward class students. Campus jobs were showing positive results till 2020 (before COVID) and are now recovering.

Campus Life

The best student organization to join in PHCET is Starkers Motorsports. The formula Student race team is the best place to apply the theoretical knowledge to the practical world. By joining the student's organization you get a lot of experience of industries and professional life.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel Facility is best in class with clear and pleasant rooms. The hostel club provides you a variety of events. The importance of self-independence and teamwork is the key aspect of hostel life. The hostel provided by the college is surrounded by nature and a good place to study and stay.

If you wanna have a college life join Pillai HOC but the only badside is very low placement percent

I applied in sies but i was getting aids which i didn't wanted and i also applied in pillai college of new panvel in which for just 4 percentile less i didn't get the ce branch in it and the admission for be is through cet cap round and institute level round and the cutoff for my branch in all india quota is 82 which was mine and the admission process was really really smooth and the college staff was really helpful with every like during admission i was not having my caste Validity but they gave me a time of 3 months too submit it...Read More
