Remarks

I decided to go to MSU for pursuing MBA because of their great placement rates. The admissions were merit based. Having a valid CAT score is a must to get admitted MSU, however the cut off changes every year. I first registered on the website and applied online. I was then shortlisted and then attended an interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The syllabus is a little difficult; however the teachers were very patient and helped us get through it. They often conducted extra seminars and workshops for us, so that we were able to grasp the concepts. We had a fixed time table and exams were conducted according to that. The exams were not that difficult.

Placement Experience

4

HDFC, Deloitte, Accenture are some of the top recruiting companies. Some companies before the placement conduct exams. The placement percentage is around 90%. Highest package is around 13 lpa and the average is 6 lpa .

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our university charges very nominal fee for the MBA course. I only paid 35000 in total. There are some additional fees for the infrastructure and ID cards. However everything is affordable. There are no campus jobs, even without them the fees are affordable.

Campus Life

4

We had a cultural fest called Prerna and a tech fest called Footprints. These are events where students from all departments participate. Our university also has very good infrastructures. The classrooms are all air conditioned and digitalized. Overall my life at MSU was very wholesome. I had opportunities to showcase my extracurricular and at the same time focus on studies.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel facilities are good. There are enough rooms to accommodate all the students. The admissions for hostels are conducted along with the admission for the course. The facilities in the hostel like the bathrooms, study hall and the common room are all good. The mess is neat, and have hygienic food. Like the tuition fee the hostels are also very affordable.
