Graphic Era University, Dehradun has got Visionary Edupreneur of India award by Pranab Mukherjee. Ranked 1st among top private in Uttarakhand survey by Dainik Bhaskar. As per NIRF University ranking, GEU got 97 rank among Top Universities. It also has been awarded by BERG, Singapore as a leading private university, BID International Quality Summit Gold Award at New York. Reading so much about this university encouraged me to fill its online admission form. For online application, I filled the form available on the official website followed by application fee costed around ?â_1000. I was asked to submit 12th marksheet in which I scored 72% and filled some personal details.
Course Curriculum Overview
Sets the benchmarks of global education with a system that matches the best of practices, standards, theories, resources all over the world.The course curriculum of this university was very good and relevant. I choose BBA because I have an interest in this course and I want to grow my career in this field. Faculty Student ratio in this university was 1:50.
Internships Opportunities
The institute also strives to bring the real world to the classroom through experiential learning for the students, industry leaders, practitioners and subject experts to take engaging sessions on a regular basis to prepare the students as future managers and leaders. In addition to this, summer internships are an integral part of management education. The institute organises summer internships, guest lectures, practical consultancy projects and year-round management development programmes.
Placement Experience
Many companies have visited in the university for placements in the past years. The placement cell invites many top notch companies every year in the campus placements. Other top-recruiters who participate in GEU placements are Adobe, IBM, TATA Consultancy Services, Wipro, HSBC, ZeeNews, Yamaha, Vivo, TechMaindra, etc. I got a job in a reputed MNC with a package of ?â_600000lpa .
Fee Structure And Facilities
My course was of 3 years for which I paid total fees around 4,06,000. For the 1st year, I paid approximately 1,36,000. Yes, my college offers scholarship but, I didn't get the scholarship. I got a financial aid help that reduced pressure of my fees.
Campus Life
My college organises a fest called Grafest every year in which Bollywood singers, actors and big bands and Djs were invited like Armaan Malik, Atif Aslam, Jubin Nautiyal, etc. The campus crowd is very good. The campus is well connected to the main city of Dehradun. It takes 20 minutes to reach the clock tower from the campus on a motorbike. Many events were also organised on the campus like a science fair, annual fair, etc.
Hostel Facilities
The campus of GEU is spread across 25 acre in the natural and green surroundings of Dehradun. The University has above 97,000 teachers across various departments. The campus of Graphic Era University offers LED equipped classrooms, air-conditioned conference room, restaurant, international tools equipped labs, 24x7 WiFi connectivity, library with 1,200+ journals and publications, and a high tech gym.
