Applying to GLU was my main aim to get in after my graduation got over with college providing excellent facility in the field of placements and internships. The selection is done on the basis of graduation score of more than 50% followed by GLAET scores or entrance exams scores followed by a round of interview. There are basic questions about the course that is asked in the interview with the field of interest I hold.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have great interest in the field of marketing and GLU provides great teaching on marketing with the first year mostly consisting of core subjects like Human Resource, operations, marketing with second year is when the electives start. The faculty of the college provides multiple case studies, journals, business games which are industry related with the teaching faculty being experienced for more than 5 years in their respective field.
Placement Experience
Recruitment process is quite strong in the college with the average salary going at 5 lakh with top companies like Amazon, Infosys, Tata, Wipro, HCL, TCS, HDFC and many more approaching the campus. The highest salary obtained from my batch was at 32 lakh with students can avail opportunities after the first year with other internship opportunities are also provided by the college with a good stipend.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Total fee charged for the course of MBA was 4,52,000 for the period of 2 years with the first year consisting of multiple core subjects with selecting specialisation in the second year. There are scholarships provided by the college on the basis of annual income of the parents whose income less than 2 lakh with different scholarship provided on the merit base of the students.
Campus Life
Campus life is really very happening with multiple events and shows that take place every year with different types of sports and cultural events happening in the college. The college has different clubs like Natraj, Ninad, Drishti and Chess clubs which are run by the students.
Hostel Facilities
All the amenities like wifi, almirahs, study table, electric and water supply are provided with having options of great homie of food. There are different rooms that students can choose from with price being different of the rooms and there is a minuscule hike after the 1st year with 5,000 has to be paid as a security deposit which is refundable after vacating the hostel.
