Entrance Preview

JEC was once a front runner for NIT of MP but didn't got that status. Earliar it was under RGPV but post 2010 it has become autonomous college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Branch: Mechanical branch of JEC is considered as best in MP [some colleagues got placed in good mechanical companies without interview.

Placement Experience

Placements t has got good placements. Earlier it used to be service based companies, but since the time it has become autonomous, Microsoft and Oracle has also came(not necessary every year).

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees Tution and Hostel fees is nominal, cant be less than what it is.

Campus Life

Infrastructure It has a block for each dept. A lake at the back of college. Since a old college, one cant find new construction. Labs They are old but quipped. One can find one of the oldest boilers in JEC which used to work some 20 years back, Such boilers are not available in IITs too.

Faculty

Faculty In computer science dept and for that matter any dept there is a mix of faculties. Some are regular and some are ad-hoc. Not much can be expected from ad-hoc faculties.

Agar aap GATE, IES, ya UPSC (Engineering Services) ki taiyari kar rahe hain, toh curriculum kaafi comprehensive hai. Subjects jaise Data Structures, Discrete Manathematics, aur Operating Systems ko kaafi detail mein cover kiya jata hai. Higher studies (M.Tech/MS) ke liye ye curriculum ek majboot base banata hai. Agar aapne yahan ke subjects dhang se padhe hain, toh competitive exams mein kaafi help milti hai. Professional World: Corporate jobs ke liye aapko curriculum ke bharose nahi baithna chahiye. Placement ke liye aapko khud se extra coding practice aur projects karne honge.

A campus of learning, friendship and future prospects

Placement Experience:

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. The average package is up to the 6 LPA. After completing my degree I am planning To join a good company of the mechanical branch which helps me in building my career in the core engineering field.

Placement os this college is quite decent as compare to other iiits .i thinkl from 6th smester students become eligible for placements . name of companies include atlassian , zomato, synosin, etc came. As per the iiitbhopal website 2025 placements ; the highest package is 85lpa and the avg is 15lpa . and 85 percent people is got placed . my plans after getting degree is looking for high paying job as i have invested too much money on this degree.

2-3 onwards Google nvidia naggaro amazon Highest package was 82 lpa Avg I think is 12 lpa but you have to get 8 cgpa to be able to sit in placement I think get a good placement and then some other plans

Placement Experience:

After the vivid there we see a lack of placement opportunities in branches . But , Because of college reputation you will easily get hired in various companies offcampus for high branches . There is lack of opportunities in core branches . Although the avarage package offered is about 4lpa to 6lpa for higher branches and a highest is about 52 lpa (2 years ago) . After getting the degree mostly students go for masters and also in IIT's or NIT'S for higher studies .

After my jee didn't go well, I applied for MPDTE counselling where I got to know that JEC jabalpur best fits as per my financial conditions. Also I prefer hostel life which I got in this college with minimum fee . Jabalpur Engineering College enough review

Yes , i can apply for this college for reason is it was a good college in your lower rank in jee mains exam you can also admit 12 th result and lateral entry for diploma students. Every year in july and august time there was counsling happed you can apply through mpdte portal andyou can join at lower rank and if your are not able to pay more fee in private colleges that was a good option for you . Everything about JEC Jabalpur

So admission process is via MPDTE councelling which is the state level councelling process. Student get admission through the jee mains percentage. Accordingly they got the branch . Mostly students preferred CSE , IT and AI branch . I also applied in SGSITS indore but because of my low score I didn't make it to go there...Read More
