Yogesh Patel's Review On L.D. College Of Engineering - [LDCE], Ahmedabad

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). I have scored 38 marks out of 100. Best college of Gujarat and also I didn't want to leave Gujarat.

No internship provided by our college for Master's degree students. For us research work was much important.

They are awesome. Cause our college is one of the most reputed college in Gujarat. So not much worries about Jobs & placement for high scores people. I also got placed in TCS. At our time 110 students got placed in TCS. And total 350-400 students got placed.

One is the technical named as symposium. We were volunteer at that time in this event. Second LAA Garba ( LD Alumni Association). It a navratri festival. Top singers with band are invited at our college for two days. And people play dandiya. Then Mr & Miss college of student event was organized. In that people show their talent.

Feasible due to government college. We have to pay 4000 rupees per year. In this 4000 , 3000 teaching fees, 500 for events contribution 500 for library donation. Fees are nominal cause our fees are paid by government. And we paid 150 per subject as exam fees, which was taken by our university.

We got only stipend. Which is 8000 per month for 22 months. No need of loans due to very less fees structure.

We have total two exams per semester. One is midterm & next is final written exams. Midterm of 30 marks & final of 70 marks. There is practical exam but no marks for that. You have to get passing marks in practical. Results is based on only midterm & final exam.

First I got the registration number. After getting that, I paid admission fees & online form regarding my educational information. Then they declared merit list. Then based on merit number I got admission in L.D. college. Then I completed university & college formalities. This way I got the admission.

Faculties are supported for everywhere. Also they are dedicated to work. Not much research orientated faculties there. Which was not good for us. We struggled lot to find research topic on current technology, on current changes in industry. It was one of toughest problem for us.
