Remarks
Document verification takes a lot of time. If you are not selected in a particular round you need to visit the college multiple times for the following rounds which is a bit hectic. The rest of the admission process was smooth. I had to submit documents like 10th and 12th marksheet, school leaving certificate, dimicile certificate (if any) and adhar card. All the quries related to the college admission process is solved on the college website There are total of 5 branches- Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics and telecommunication, Electronics and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science departments. The examination requirements for this is though MHCET or JEE mains .
Course Curriculum Overview
The college curriculum is as per the guidelines provided by the Mumbai University. The faculty members are quite helpful. Most of the faculty members at this istiture has completed their PhD. There is a total of 3 exams in each semister - 2 Unit Tests plus 1 end sem exam.
Internships Opportunities
Internship after the 6th semester is compulsory - students are given a choice about the in-house or outhouse internship. I got an in-house internship as an Android Developer where we had a team of 4 and had to complete a task at hand.
Placement Experience
KJSIET provides campus placements as well. From the past 2 years, placements have been great. Most of the students have been placed at reputed companies with a good package. The placement staff helps the students at each and every step
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee is around 1,32,000 per year. There are financial aids available in the college like EBC which reduces the fees to 40-45%. Placements usually start at the begining of the seventh semester
Campus Life
The college has 2 major fests- Techfest & Cultural fest. Apart from those there are also many professional bodies and clubs that help a student grow themselves in various aspect. College also has a library with all the resourses needed.
