Review of Department of Information Technology at KJSIEIT

I took admission in the department of information technology KJSIEIT by giving mhcet and it has a decent cutoff. The institute has a quota of about 50% seats reserved for Gujarati linguistic minorities.

I am a student studying in IT department of KJSIEIT and I will personally recommend you of joining the IT department. The department of Information Technology offers a BTech (Information Technology) programme under the Autonomous status given to the institute by the University grant Commision (UGC) and University of Mumbai. The Information Technology department of KJSIEIT is one of the most advanced department in terms of academics, placements and sports. The faculties of IT department posses ample amount of knowledge. All the faculties are very coordinating and helpful. IT department helps students by conducting various seminars and workshops on recent technologies and trends from industry experts. The faculties of the department helps students ,who want to pursue higher education and also to those who want to become an enterpenour in the best possible manner. Also the department has MoU's and tie ups with many leading industries in their domains.

The department of information technology provides internship opportunities to every student during their academic breaks. Companies such as Myraa Technologies, Image Online Private limited, Tech Mahindra provides internship to students.

When it comes to campus placement, KJSIEIT is one of the leading colleges in Mumbai. The department of Information Technology provides assistance to every student in regards to placements. Also, it is very good for one who wants to pursue higher education such as Mtech in AI.

The fees structure of the college is very simple at about 1.35 lakhs per annum and it depends upon the students, as the institute provides a number of scholarships to deserving ones. Also, it helps the students with low income backgrounds use schemes such as Somaiya scholarship, Maharashtra government Mah dbt scheme and many more.

When it comes to campus life at KJSIEIT and in the department of information technology, it is very good. Students can take up a lot of sports activities as the college has ample infrastructure and playground . All the facilities are provided to the students by the department and the institute.
