K.J.S.I.E.I.T review

I applied for K.J somaiya vidya vihar and K.J somaiya sion, I got K.J somaiya sion through cap round, The minimum marks required was around 120 for IT, and the student should 18 years old, we had to submit our paper such as leaving certificate, adhar card 10th and 12th mark sheet and domicile certificate(if any).

I always wanted to get into the IT field hence I choose IT as my major, There are a good number of faculties in our college the rough faculty to student ratio is 1:36, all the faculty members are highly educated, most of the faculty members have done PhD. There are 2 unit tests and 1 end semester exam Every semester.

After semester 6 everyone had to do compulsory internships either inhouse or outhouse, most of the students get internships with the help of our college itself. I got an internship as a full stack developer in our college and I developed a software called Examiner appointment system in a team of 3 people.

As soon as our semester 6 ends and semester 7 start we are eligible for placements, A large number of companies visit our college, for eg. Wissen(11 ctc), Visible Alpa(8.8lpa), Sapient(10lpa), Accenture(4,5lpa and 6.5lpa) and many more, The highest package offered this year is 11 ctc but no one got selected for that company, The student who got placed with highest package is 8.8 lpa i.e in Visible alpha. 80-85% of students of IT are placed every year, I'm planning to get a job after my degree.

The total Fee was around Rs. 1,32,500, There is little financial assistance given to few students such as we have EBC which reduces our fees by 40% to 45%. Currently, many companies are visiting our college and they are giving decent packages.

The fest is the best thing about our college, they celebrate two major fests in our college both of them are amazing. Almost every book a student needs is available in our library. Classrooms are great they have projectors too for teaching. Many sports are being played in our college such as football, cricket, volleyball, etc. There are various clubs ran by students the best club is Infinite Loop.
