I had given JEE mains and scored 200 marks. The main reason for opting the course was because of my immense interest in machines.
Fees and Financial Aid
The Alumni association of VJTI gives complete scholarship to the needy children. Loan facilities are provided in coordination with the SBI in our campus.
Exam Structure
At vjti we have a 60-30-10 pattern. 10 marks are internal and totally in hands of the teacher. Two in-semester exams of 30 mks each are held and they are then averaged to 30 marks. The final paper is of 100 mks which is further converted to 60 mks. Finally all these mks are converted to grade and a relative pointer is given.
Admission
The administration here especially good. For admission one needs to simply get a seat from DTE , which is usually allocated on merit. After one gets a seat in VJTI the rest is quiet simple. One then need to fill the admission form and hostel form if applicable and submit it in the office.
Faculty
The faculty is very cooperative, especially mechanical faculty. The faculty takes full effort to teach the students in the best possible way.
