There are two types of counselling online which are through HSTES and the other is physical or spot counselling in which we have to go to college show our documents and they will give u seats according to seat availability in every branch. U have to first fill up the form then a rank list is generated in which u have given one number (example 345) according to your rank and when u reach there u will be called by authorities according to it. Then they will give u a choice of branches which are available at that point and if u agree to any branch then they will give the seat to u. I will recommend u should go to physical counselling as there is a better chance u will get your desired branch.

I choose electronics and communication because I am interested in this field and the number of students in this branch is also less than CS, IT and mechanical. Teachers are mixed some of them are cooperative but some do not listen and also change the timing of class according to them. Teachers just give u some idea of the topic but u have to do it on your own. At my time exams online and is not so difficult to pass in it but in an offline exam, they are quite difficult if u want to get good cgpa u have to work hard and if to get passed then u have to study 3-4 days before the exam.

I am currently in my 2nd year so I have not done any internship currently but as told by many seniors that u can apply for an internship from the 7th semester and if u want u can do off campus internship with your own skills and effort.

As I m currently in 2nd year I don't know much about placements but I have talked with many seniors they say if you are in CS or IT then placement percentage is very good many software base company visit College every year big company like Amazon, Flipkart also gives placement to students this year 8 students are placed in Amazon if u work hard then u will get placement surely. But in the core field of Electronics companies are less and package is also low and there is less chance of on campus placement than is in a software based company and the number of companies coming in college Change every year but the number of offers given to students decreased from last year.

Scholarships are available for needy students if you are financially weak u can avail of scholarship by giving suitable reason and proof form for scholarship come before every semester. There are also other reasons like if there is no earning person in your family or u have lost your father then u can get a scholarship. A special scholarship is also available for SC/SC students.

There are many clubs in college both technical like samarpan, microbird, manan and cultural like Ananya, dance club there are other clubs also like red cross, NCC which do social work and there is also a sports club. To be in a club is fun u learn new things and interact with other people do social activities. There are two types of fest one cultural and one technical and it is done at very bid leave every club to participate in it and there every club have to show their projects and there is DJ night also for enjoyment. The student also makes a website in the guidance of seniors and coordinator and the college publish its magazine every year.
