Remarks

I had applied for all the colleges of SIU, Pune, NOIDA, Hyderabad and Nagpur. I was on the waiting list of 30 of SLS Pune. However, I was foetunate enough to get through the Entrance and PI of SLS, NOIDA. There is no as such minimum marks criteria. One needs to have completed 10+2. All one needs is to get near cut off marks in entrance and then do good in PI.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The faculty members are very supportove. One can reach out to them. In BBA.LLB there are 3 divisions of around 60 students each and in BA.LLB, 2 divisions of around 60 each. Quality of teaching was not hampered due to online mode. The classes are still interactive. The good thing is that the college keeps you busy by conducting exams in almost every month and one needs to prepare thoroughly to score well.

Internships Opportunities

5

The college forces you to do internships after every semester and also offers internships. The journal in which i did my internship was De Jure Nexus Law Journal. Being a 1st year student, it was an unpaid internships with a lot of learning opportunity. We were given the task to write research articles which if found to be of good standard, were also offered to be published. I got 3 publications in my name. Alongside this task, the recruiter also took classes in which he told us how to do drafting and make contracts, etc. He also conducted Presentation and debates to help us improve our public speaking skills. Two quizzes, one on constitutional law and one on criminal Law were held. In the criminal law quiz i came 1st and was awarded a certificate for the same. Also, at the end of the internship, selected interns got an LOR for their performance in the internship

Placement Experience

3.5

In semester 10, students become eligoble for placements. The companies that visit for Campus Recruitment change every year. AZB, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, Luthra and Luthra are few to name. The highest package offered was 15L per annum with the lowest being 6L per annum. Almost 50% students got employed via campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The negative point is the fees. Being a private university, it is obvious that the fees will be high. As of now i dont know about the scholarship opportunities and financial assistance. Though cost to study is high, it is worth it to develop the required skill set

Campus Life

5

Annual fests do happen but due to covid it wasnt possible last year. The orientation and freshers was also conducted online. As the college has opened in the offline mode, we are able to attend the college. There is no dearth of books and journals in the library. One can access them and stay in library after the classes that is till 5 pm. There are clubs such as Legal Aid Centre, Sports Club, Dance Society, etc. The Sports, Drama, Dance societies are run by students. The classrooms are centrally Air-Conditioned with comfortable seating

Interview Experience

4

Interview questions included basic questions such as your introduction, why do you want this particular college, where do you see yourself in next 5 or 10 years. I prepared for them via my coaching institute, my doing various mock tests and mock PI.
