Remarks

I took admission through Management Quota. The admission criteria were not certain for my program as there were many seats remaining to be filled. So I got through directly as soon as I took the admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as it was of my specific interest. The student: faculty ratio is about 50:1. All the faculty members are well qualified for their preferred subjects. The term exams are as per the university guidelines and are conducted accordingly.

Internships Opportunities

There is a specific group of facilities that guide the students about the Internships availability. It is upto the students whether they are interested or not. There are options for online as well as offline Internships through various websites.

Placement Experience

Mostly, placements take place from the end of TE and the companies are as per the university guidelines. All companies have different criterias based on their packages. Companies like Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Jio, Infotec, etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is also based on the university guidelines which is different for each category. There are various scholarships based on students' category/caste. There are mostly government scholarships. Faculties assist us throughout the course.

Campus Life

The fest is conducted once every year, whereas there are various tech fests conducted thought the academic year. And all of these events are organized by the students. The library is well equipped with the books need. Sports and extracurricular activities are performed once the college timing is done.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the final year that is 7th semester . A lot of companies visit the campus like TCS , INFOSYS , WIPRO etc batch of 2025 got 363 offers . The highest package was 16 LPA and the avg is 4.37 LPA , placement percentage is 74% . I am planning to opt for MBA after BTECH

Why I Chose PCCOE: A Student’s Perspective on Academics and Opportunities

Placement Experience:

For 5th semester students become eligible for internship (stipend based)...And from 7th semester for placements. TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra – for software roles Larsen & Toubro, Honeywell, Siemens, KPIT, Bosch, Persistent Systems – for core engineering roles (ENTC, Mechanical, IT) Other startups & IT product companies also visit for internships and full-time offers. Highest Package: Around ?24–28 LPA (mainly for CSE/IT students in product-based companies like Goldman Sachs, Amazon, TCS iON, etc.) Average Package: Around ?4.5–6 LPA for core and IT companies, and ?3.5–5 LPA for ENTC students. Each year, over 90% of CSE/IT/ENTC students get placed. Branch-specific placements may vary: CSE usually sees 95–98% placements, ENTC around 85–90%, and other branches slightly lower. The Real Experience: Strengths and Shortcomings of PCCOE

Placement Experience:

The college has a dedicated Training and Placement(T&P) cell and has regular recruitment drives that work to place students in companies where they will be values highly. Each year, 600-700 students are placed from all the branches. More than 300+ companies visit but the ones that hire are limited such as TCS, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra which generally are mass recruiters that look for employees that will work for 3LPA or 4.5LPA. The highest packages go to about 30 to 40 LPA domestic and 61 LPA foreign but it is very rare to get a placement like this and requries considerable effort on the side of the student as well. Average package is 7 LPA for CS/IT branch; 5 LPA for electronics and telecommunications branch; 4 LPA for mechanical. My plan after getting the degree is working for 1-2 years while simultaneously pursuing masters.

My experience at Bharati Vidyapeeth.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to apply for placements from the seventh semester. Many Mass recruiters offer jobs to students in our college, some of them being- TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, ICICI Lombard and Capgemini Ai. The average package offered is a around 6LPA and usually the highest package is about 12LPA. Around 65-80% of the students get placed directly from college. I plan to pursue a career in my field after graduation.
