Remarks

I wrote the IISER aptitude test, based on my marks, I was allowed BS-MS at IISER Bhopal. 50% of the IISER seats are for IISER aptitude test students. The other 50% percent is for the jee advanced and KVPY students. Counselling windows for all is different. You can also apply through multiple streams.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum depends from department to department. The mathematics and physics departments are a bit hectic. The others are a bit chill. When you choose a major, the faculty to student ratio becomes 1 per 50 Students for a course. Also, we have a Teaching Assistant for 10-15 students.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

You need not be too concerned about internships. Industrial as well as academic, all types of internships are made available to the students. This is your choice of which one you want to apply for. You can also, work on any reading project or just stay on campus to work for any professor.

Placement Experience

4.5

We have a special department to take care of the placement. The same department helps you to find internships. Though, most students don't opt for placements after the MS degree. Most of the peeps here opt for a PhD from prestigious institutions.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees at IISER has increased a bit. But starting the 3rd year, the fees are extremely affordable. There are a lot of scholarships and awards you can apply for. That's mu h of a problem for many. In case you have my issues, you can always contact the institute.

Campus Life

4.5

There are a lot of clubs at IISER. They range from academic to cultural to art to technology. Also, you can be a part of the student body in case you want to be a part of institute management. You can also be a part of the core committee of the club's or be just a participant. Also, we have a lot of fests and sports facilities, including a gym. You are going to live a life if you make it to IISER.
