Struggle of Engineers

I applied to all top Mumbai University Colleges but my MHT CET score was not up to the mark so I decided to do my Electrical Engineering from Lokmanya Tilak College Of Engineering because this college is good for Electrical Engineering. In Lokmanya Tilak College Of Engineering, there were no required huge marks in MHT CET. When first time I go to the college for admission they only asks for all original documents like the 10th,12th mark sheet MHT CET scorecard, Jee Mains Scorecard, then we have to pay the required amount of fee and the admission process gets completed.

I had chosen this course because in upcoming years there is a huge growth for Electrical Engineers and as we all know that if we want to make our life easy and comfortable there is a need for electricity. And as an Electrical Engineer, we can provide electricity for poor people who leave without electricity In low developed villages etc. In Lokmanya Tilak College Of Engineering, there is two or one faculty for each subject, like if one teacher is teaching lecture in class then other teachers will take the practicals. All the faculties are well qualified. They had done their Bachelor's master PhD degrees from well known universities. Term exams were always having 2 months gap and it was quite moderate to clear.

Lokmanya Tilak College Of Engineering does not offer any internships they only give letters of recommendation and we have to mail them to the companies. About projects, they give limited projects which we have to be done on given time.

For campus placements students becomes eligible from the 7th Semester. A decent number of companies visit our college and almost 60 to 70 percent of students get placed. For getting placements minimum of 7 or above CGPA is required. The highest package offered is around 5 lakhs. After getting a degree I am going to prepare for Government Examinations Like banking sector Railways etc.

The fee Structure was close to 1 lakh for General category students and for SC ST and other castes it was quite low. They give scholarships to students who belong to the caste. Campus selection is pretty good because most of the seniors have got placed in some of the other companies.

Campus Life is quite good. They have ground for playing outdoor sports like cricket Football. They conduct competitions like Singing Dancing Poster making, Ganpati Celebration. They also conduct branch wise competitions. There are an immense collection of books in the library, we can get any book from the library.
